Robert was always helpful and quick to respond to any of our concerns, which were very little. The place was just and described and the area around it is incredible peaceful!

We had a great time at this beautiful secluded cabin. Very peaceful and had everything we needed.

We celebrated our first anniversary here and were reluctant to depart! The cabin is excellent, offering ample space for guests, making it ideal for family gatherings. We appreciated the serene surroundings, with woods in every direction, and would love to return time and again!

Beautiful and private surroundings. Great place to escape with all of the modern conveniences. Nostalgic full log home with high ceiling. Upstairs bedrooms are one very large connected loft. Note that the Main Street bridge is currently closed for construction in the town of Hersey until the first of June.

A great getaway for nature. Plenty of wildlife (deer & turkey) every morning and evening. The cabin was comfortably cozy with some nice amenities to give it a modern feel. Would definitely visit again.

This Airbnb has been one of my favorites that I’ve ever rented. I’ve came up here for a few days to do some fishing in the local area and I gotta say when I came home, it was extremely comforting and had all the amenities that I needed!

Perfect for a weekend retreat. Thankful for the good directions they gave otherwise we would have gotten lost. I wish they would have provided a map of the property so we knew where we could wander. We loved the big table for playing board games. The water pressure wasn't great, but adequate.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was very nice, clean, and exactly what we were looking for — peaceful, quiet, and secluded. The view over the river was beautiful, and although it wasn’t easy to access the river for fishing, our boys loved the adventure of it. There are also some great stores and a cozy coffee shop about 15 minutes away, which made it easy to enjoy a few outings. Overall, it was a perfect getaway, and we would definitely love to come back!

Five stars all around! This home is a hidden gem tucked high above the Muskegon River, surrounded by peaceful woods and stunning views. The setting is serene and private, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house itself is beautiful—thoughtfully designed, clean, and super comfortable. If you’re looking for a scenic escape with modern comfort and a splash of wilderness, this is the place. Can’t wait to come back!

Very secluded and private, beautiful cabin back in the wood.

This was a very well-built cabin with more light and an airier feel than some log cabins. The furniture was sturdy and carefully chosen, and very comfortable. The decor was unified and simple, with great character. If we were to use the kayaks, we'd have to carry them down a large, steep, forested hill, so keep that in mind if the kayaks are an important feature for you. It isn't a simple "step into the water" situation. We were there in early spring and saw plentiful wild leeks growing everywhere, and fun wildlife outside, so I imagine in warmer months there would be even more to see and explore. If the video games are an important feature for your kids, be sure to ask the host to double-check that all ports or cords are available for their use. I don't care much but it was a big deal for our kids who get limited screen time. 😏 The hosts are friendly and responsive, and they don't pile on lots of unreasonable requirements at check-out. We would stay here again.

Our stay in Hersey was fantastic. The cabin was exactly as advertised. We particularly liked the sauna and the woodstove as there was a sudden drop in temperature during our stay and we were able to get very cozy. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again or recommend it to a friend

For this years annual boys trip we chose this spot. Definitely one of the best we’ve stayed at in all our years. Beautiful property and very relaxing. I would recommend this place to anyone.
