Such a pretty location at the end of a private road completely secluded. The elevation and woods at the camp fire were awesome. Had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.

The cabin was as described and shown in the pictures. It had everything we needed and then some. It was so nice they supplied body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.

Great place to stay! Nice to be in the middle of the woods but have a nice house to stay in.

Very spacious, with lovely forest walking near the fire pit. There’s a more gradual walking path down to the river from a bit up the road (not immediately behind the house). Quite modern kitchen and bathroom, lots of towels. Slept well, super peaceful.

A serene and relaxing stay with ample amenities, especially for such a secluded location. As clean as a somewhat rustic cabin can be (e.g. some bugs but otherwise pretty pristine), although having had some VERY rustic cabin experiences in our lives, this felt quite luxurious. Overall a great spot for a weekend getaway! We loved roaming around the property, grilling, watching fireflies and stargazing. Our German Shepherd loved the ample amount of sticks available to play with and chew on in the woods :) They were also sweet enough to have a full water bowl ready for him prior to our arrival. Would love to stay here again!

our stay was a mix of good and okay. A big place and we enjoyed the peace and solitude of the location. Very quiet and the woods were full of unexpected grassy knoll. gorgeous. you can barely see the river through the trees and the pathway down halted us because it got too overgrown to walk down. doesnt look well traveled and that was also the path we were told to use if we wanted to put the kayaks in. quite the hike down.not very doable for us. do a livery. we wanted a fire and got excited about hanging the hammocks to relax but there was no lighter to be found in the house. we dont smoke so dont carry one around. I think this should have been an item on hand. maintenance overall was lacking in our opinion. kirchen faucet broken. we have stayed at very nice well kept AIRBNBs some things were tolerable and expected. a broken chair arm rest at the firepit when I sat down and put my arm on caught me off guard. sauna was nice. sweep dirt out and wash before use.

Omg my words can not express how much we love this place! If you have time to be in the forest and get away, this is the place to be! Hands down coming back next year :)

Such an idyllic log cabin in the woods! Upon arrival, my husband and I were greeted by the melodius chorus of birds and the breeze shushing the treetops. The surroundings are so peaceful. The beautiful filtered sunlight streams through the canopy of trees outside as well as trickling inside through the cabin windows. Craftsmenship and care is reflected inside via log beams, shiny lacquered wood floors, and inviting, comfortable furniture. We especially appreciated the super comfy bed and pillows. There is a lovely large firepit area outside which we normally would have enjoyed, but the weather was just a little too warm for a fire. We relished in seeing a variety of flora, fauna, & birds hiking along the Muskegon & Chippewa. On a walk about the property we inadvertently scared a darling, very young fawn (18" tall) from its hiding place under a log and it scampered away :) If you love nature and need a place to decompress, you will love this place!

Great setting by the river in pretty views. Close to thousands of acres of woodlands to explore. Highly recommended!

Quiet. Secluded. Nice amenities. Instructions were helpful to arive to the location as it is off the beaten path. However, this is what you want in a true cabin experience. If you have kids and dogs, this is a great location for a vacation. Traverse city and Cadilac lake aren't far away either.

We had an amazing vacation. The log cabin was perfect! Everything worked as it should. Very relaxing, the weather was great. Our cane corso Zeus loved exploring the hills and valleys. We saw wild deer and 3 eagles flying by. We enjoyed the fire pit and sauna. We will be back.

Wood stove made it very cozy

The place is great. Definitely quiet and secluded if you want to get away from a big city. The Sauna and tub were perfect. The appliances and utensils are a little dated and not the cleanest in the world, but everything worked as intended. Definitely get here during the day, and if it's raining a lot, I would highly recommend a 4x4 as the road is unpaved and can get really muddy. With all that being said, I would highly recommend staying here if you want a more modern cabin retreat.

I booked this beautiful place for my wife’s birthday and we were able to bring our dogs. She loved it, the dogs loved it. It’s definitely out of the way which was just what we were looking for! This Airbnb would be great in all seasons and the indoor fire stove kept us cozy. We would love to return in the summer or fall to use the outdoor fire pit and spend more time exploring the area.

Robert's cabin is awesome and beautiful. One of a kind,in my opinion. Deep in the forest with beautiful views and quiet space. A little hard to get to,but that's part of the adventure. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be booking again soon. Thank you!

Lovely, secluded forested location for a cozy winter weekend. We enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace and many board games - definitely a spot for rest and relaxation!

Can not stress enough how much you need to follow the instructions to just keep driving until you get to the last house! Glad the host made it very clear on how to get to the house. Absolutely peaceful. Stayed when it was -15F without the windchill factored in, but it was nice and cozy in the house. The sauna also held up just fine in the frigid temp. Spent a relaxing weekend readings books and playing board games and watching the world outside freeze solid!

This was our second year in a row returning to this property since we loved it the first time. This year it was again the perfect spot for our stay. This is a great place for a secluded cabin trip!

Peaceful, quiet, and cozy! This property is exactly what is advertised and more. The cabin is well stocked and well cared for. It snowed 5-6 in during our stay but leaving and accessing the property was still very feasible, as was getting to nearby towns.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is beautiful inside and out. It is truly off the beaten path which is what we were hoping for. We enjoyed walking around in the woods onsite and the small hike down to the river even with the snow. At night, we were able to see so many stars. The sauna was amazing as well. The wood stove was so cozy. We would really love to come back for another stay!

We had planned to hike until check in, but the rain and wind had us huddled in our car… I asked about checking in a bit early, and they were extremely accommodating! The location was exactly what we needed… very private and relaxing, with nature in every direction. If you can go in fall, do it!

Perfect October weekend! All four of us loved it - 5 if we include the dog! We enjoyed the firepit under incredible fall maple trees. The sauna was a fun touch, and the home itself was great. We played games, cooked and grilled, explored the local area, wandered down to the river a couple times, spotted more deer than we count, listened to the owls, carved pumpkins and just really had a great time.

Great host. This place has the full in the woods cabin feel and experience. Very quiet, peaceful, and worth it.

Cabin setting was private and quiet. It was surrounded by nature on all sides. The home is technically on the river but with the location of the house on top of a bluff, and the dense foliage, it was barely visible this time of year. There is a primitive trail to walk down to the water but don’t plan on portaging any watercraft. That said, the property is beautiful if you want a quiet spot in nature to relax which is what we did. Home was comfortable with all the modern conveniences, super comfy beds and great fire pit.

Exactly what I was hoping for. A secluded, comfortable, and peaceful place to get away from it all. The hosts instructions were very necessary in finding the place, and the rugged road out my sedan to the test, but the home was clean and comfortable. Beautiful scenery everywhere you look!

Beautiful and private surroundings. Great place to escape with all of the modern conveniences. Nostalgic full log home with high ceiling. Upstairs bedrooms are one very large connected loft. Note that the Main Street bridge is currently closed for construction in the town of Hersey until the first of June.

This Airbnb has been one of my favorites that I’ve ever rented. I’ve came up here for a few days to do some fishing in the local area and I gotta say when I came home, it was extremely comforting and had all the amenities that I needed!

Perfect for a weekend retreat. Thankful for the good directions they gave otherwise we would have gotten lost. I wish they would have provided a map of the property so we knew where we could wander. We loved the big table for playing board games. The water pressure wasn't great, but adequate.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was very nice, clean, and exactly what we were looking for — peaceful, quiet, and secluded. The view over the river was beautiful, and although it wasn’t easy to access the river for fishing, our boys loved the adventure of it. There are also some great stores and a cozy coffee shop about 15 minutes away, which made it easy to enjoy a few outings. Overall, it was a perfect getaway, and we would definitely love to come back!

Very secluded and private, beautiful cabin back in the wood.

This was a very well-built cabin with more light and an airier feel than some log cabins. The furniture was sturdy and carefully chosen, and very comfortable. The decor was unified and simple, with great character. If we were to use the kayaks, we'd have to carry them down a large, steep, forested hill, so keep that in mind if the kayaks are an important feature for you. It isn't a simple "step into the water" situation. We were there in early spring and saw plentiful wild leeks growing everywhere, and fun wildlife outside, so I imagine in warmer months there would be even more to see and explore. If the video games are an important feature for your kids, be sure to ask the host to double-check that all ports or cords are available for their use. I don't care much but it was a big deal for our kids who get limited screen time. 😏 The hosts are friendly and responsive, and they don't pile on lots of unreasonable requirements at check-out. We would stay here again.

Our stay in Hersey was fantastic. The cabin was exactly as advertised. We particularly liked the sauna and the woodstove as there was a sudden drop in temperature during our stay and we were able to get very cozy. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again or recommend it to a friend

My travel group likes to take a winter trip each January for an extended weekend cozy getaway from the busyness of life. This property was a perfect fit. It is secluded and feels off the grid, but has all the modern amenities to make your stay comfortable. We had a great time and would definitely recommend.

This is prob best Air BNB we have ever stayed at. Place is very remote and beautiful. Follow instructions provided and you will find cabin. All as described. Neighbors friendly. Truly a relaxing call back to nature. Current bedding for 10. Only thing you need is charcoal, food and drink. Can't wait for another trip to include sons and grandsons. We had such a relaxing long weekend! This house feels like you’re nestled in a park. It’s beautiful and surrounded by trees. The river is a little bit of a hike, so keep that in mind. The master bed was comfy and the shower on the bottom floor is roomy! I was impressed with the quality of the cookware. Normally, it’s cheap stuff, but this was nice! There’s a few spices, coffee filters, etc. already stocked. There are plenty of trash bags. It’s the last place (I think) on the road and was so nice! We loved the loveseat that reclines! Such a peaceful, tranquil experience. Thank you!

Tucked back into the woods this cabin is the definition of a peaceful getaway. Surrounded by beautiful woods and just up the hill from the river the star gazing doesn't get any better. It's new, clean, comfy beds (the loft is open!) with a large kitchen/dining area/LR. The hosts are very friendly and responsive. The kitchen is well stocked with spices and cooking essentials but they don't provide coffee so don't forget to pack some! It's a ways back on a gravel road but it's close to Hersey, Reed City and Big Rapids so you've got plenty of restaurant options/grocery stores within 15 minutes. A delightful stay.

Peaceful, remote property nestled in the woods on a hill over the Muskegon river. Fantastic location for forest and river lovers.

We held our fantasy football draft at the cabin this summer and it was exactly what we needed. We went golfing one day and floated down the Muskegon on kayaks another day. We never drove more than 20 minutes to either despite the incredible privacy provided by the cabin. We would definitely come back again. Thanks so much!

I had an amazing stay at this property! The house was wonderful, with everything you could possibly need already there. The space was beautifully maintained, and it had a great layout that made it feel very cozy and welcoming. One of the best parts was how private it was—perfect for a relaxing getaway. This cabin was perfect for our group! Enough space for all, very clean and well taken care of. Location was secluded and private, just what we were looking for. All the amenities of home, comfortable & clean.

It was a family gathering with ages from 90 to 9. We explored the woods and tubed and kayaked down the muskegon. My husband and son-in-law fished as we leisurely floated! The bonfires we awesome and the kids loved it! The accommodations were perfect for our family and loved the log cabin vibe! Robert was excellent in providing smooth checkin and recommendations for things to do. He was available for any questions which was very helpful! Overall wonderful experience!

Accommodating, responsive, and kind. that's how I would describe the hosts. the place was beautiful and the amenities were new and easy to use. the place was also incredibly clean. the out doors is super private and tranquil. I was incredibly surprised by how little bugs there were. my dog was running around all day outside and he didn't get a single tick or flea. at the end of our stay our car battery died and needed to be jumped. the host showed up within 15 mins and jumped us and had us on our way hassle free. I 100% would stay here again and would recommend it to others!

This location is very very private, the place was very well designed, loved the massaged bed, the river isn't far at all but will be a workout to get back up the hill. 5/5 stay highly recommend with friends or family

This was an all around incredible experience, If you want a peaceful and relaxing getaway with a beautiful drive and aIl the comforts of home this is your place. The craftsmanship seen through out is incredible a must stay for any traveler to central and west Michigan. The woods, the river, the overall outdoor is phenomenal! The cabin was beautiful, very peaceful, we could take our dog with us , so happy about it . In the cabin was everything we needed from dishwasher, soap to laundry, Disney and Netflix. Very save alarm system provided. We enjoyed our get away and recommended to others. The host was very quick responsive when we had questions.

My family and I stayed here in March. We were looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway and this property was exactly that. It is super secluded, peaceful, and had beautiful surroundings....just what we were looking for. It is a fun little drive to get up to the property and is on a bluff overlooking the Muskegon River. I would highly recommend this property.

Even though it took a little time to find, it ended up being worth any trouble. The place was huge and extremely tidy. The host took no time to respond when we needed help. It was an amazing trip and we thank the hosts for that!

This cabin is the perfect secluded forest get away. Tucked back away in the woods with a view and hike down to the river. Our dogs loved it! Tons of space, comfy beds and couches, and everything we needed in the kitchen to cook meals. We didn’t use them, but there is a washer and dryer available to use. One note if you have a large group- the upstairs bathroom is only a bathtub. Also, as this is a log cabin, all of the rooms are somewhat “open” to each other (either as a loft or just gaps between walls and ceiling). This was not an issue for us, but just something to keep in mind if you are looking for full privacy. Super easy check-in and good communication. Location doesn’t come up properly in Maps, but the host provided us clear instructions in advance, so we had no issues.

Very cozy and comfortable when we got the fire started. There was a little bit of firewood available, but plan on bringing some of your own if you want a fire. Floor plan is great for relaxing and talking with anyone in kitchen. Beds are nice and could comfortably sleep 10 without feeling crowded (or couch surfing!). There’s plenty of floor space upstairs as well for personal belongings, the pictures don’t show that very well. Beautiful views over the river and in the woods. The house is at the end of the road, so good for privacy, but as it is a dirt road, tis slippery when wet and took us a couple tries to get up the last incline. Would definitely consider staying again at this place.

I booked this Airbnb for a get away with my friends, and we could not have spent a better weekend. The cabin is located in a quiet and peaceful place. We got to disconnect from the buzzing city and connect with each other instead, surrounded by a warm woodfire and in a clean, cosy and beautiful cabin. I absolutely recommend staying there!!

The pictures and the listing accurately describe the property. We really liked the remoteness of the cabin and the surrounding woods and wildlife. It was just the getaway we needed. We had about 5 inches of snow fall and the the log home and the wood burning stove had a cozy feel to it. We saw several deer, squirrels and birds in the surrounding woods. I think in the future we may book the cabin during a warmer month so we could take advantage of the available kayaks on the river. Robert was very quick to respond when I asked for suggestions about where to get groceries, firewood, etc. We would definitely recommend the property.

We really loved the secluded location and beautiful views at the Wilderness Retreat. Loved the wood burning fireplace and the soaking tub upstairs. The log cabin is definitely a relaxing place to unwind! My tip for guests traveling with dogs, bring extra towels. It was a rainy weekend and the grounds surrounding the cabin turned into a mud pit. Very messy for potty breaks.

The place comes with everything we need - central heat, full size kitchen, large dining and living area, great master bed and spacious 2nd floor with rest of the beds. The cellular reception is unexpectedly well and WiFi/TV works well as well. The location is private and serene, but at the same time is not too far away from nearby city and general stores. For my birthday, I wanted some peaceful, cozy, carefree time away from city life and that’s exactly what I got! The cabin was exactly what I was looking for. Log cabin. Secluded. Beautiful forest/river views. Updated, cozy furnishings. Indoor fire (wood burning stove). Pet friendly. My family loved it here, and our dog had the time of his life! One thing I thought was super unique was that they supplied a dog bed and dog food dish. Gave us extra room in the car by not having to bring those items! I loved that! Host was very responsive and helpful with our questions. We will definitely be visiting again in the future!

The property was beautiful and private. We loved setting and the interior was stunning. It was cold and there wasn't much snow so there weren't many outdoor activities but we liked walking and exploring the nearby towns. The TV and wifi were a plus for entertainment when we wanted to stay in. The kitchen amenities allowed us to cook some meals and there were plenty of places within 20 minutes for snacks and restaurants. Overall we enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer.

Very secluded and quiet, beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting. Wife and I plus two friends and our two golden retrievers stayed for a peaceful weekend. Loved hanging out by the fire pit while the pups ran through the woods. Beds were extremely comfortable, super fast WiFi. Cabin was warm and comfortable great living space with very comfortable furniture and great large windows. Absolutely recommend this place if you’re looking for a peaceful weekend in a cabin.

My girlfriend and I had a great time. Very peaceful and quiet, stepped outside at night and couldn’t hear anything, which was very peaceful! Even though weather wasn’t the best, still made the best of it, stayed inside and watched Christmas movies! Seeing the snow through the spacious sized windows, while watching x-mas movies was perfect! Definitely want to try and make it back here for a summer vacation!!

Beautiful place, very secluded and remote. Just what we were looking for. The cabin was warm and cozy, felt like home away from home. Very big and spacious for our whole family. Not only enough sleeping space, but even enough living room and dining room sitting space. Mattresses are on the firmer side (I prefer softer) but they are newer and still in very nice condition, just personal preference. Kids enjoyed a bit of hiking. WiFi works very well. The dogs loved it too, great outdoors for them to run around and sniff, and even a cozy dog bed. All around a very nice stay. I bet it would be great kayaking in the summer.

We absolutely loved our time here. The space is warm and cozy, has an amazing view, very clean, and the host, Robert, was really communicative and kindly accommodated our needs. I can't express how beautiful the woods and river are. I highly recommend staying here for as long as you possibly can.

We had an enjoyable 3-night stay at the Wilderness Vista Retreat. The place is attractive, comfortable, and secluded. It's easy to relax on the oversized furniture, and when we lit the wood-burning stove it created a welcoming ambience. The large windows created a light-filled space. The kitchen has all modern conveniences, with a large island and counter workspace. Navigating the last half-mile or so to the house was a little tricky due to the heavy leaf cover on the (unpaved) road, but that was specifically due to the time of year, and thankfully we arrived while there was still daylight. Note that firewood is not provided, and it was surprisingly difficult to find bundles for sale locally. Overall it was a great experience, and was just what we were looking for.

This cabin stay was exactly what we needed for a fall getaway. The cabin and its natural surroundings were absolutely beautiful. The cabin was cozy and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and our dogs loved playing by the river and in the woods. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We’ll be back!

Peaceful, quite, and relaxing. If you are looking for a woodland retreat I would highly recommend this stay. It's set at the very end of a private drive, on the top of a hill, overlooking the river. Watch for deer on your way in and out!

Beautiful place set back in picturesque forest. Only downside is what appeared to be accumulation of nightly bat droppings by the front door. We adapted by using the side door.

An amazing log home in a beautiful secluded wooded setting accessed by a private gravel road. Rustic themed but with modern conveniences. Bring your hiking boots for exploring, or your bicycle to ride on the paved Pere-Marquette trail from the Hersey trailhead a short drive away. Clean, quiet and comfortable – would definitely stay here again!

Our family of 8 spent a long weekend at Forest and Flow so we could attend a wedding nearby. It was a lovely adventure deep in the woods. The home is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen is nicely equipped with most everything you could need. The fire pit area looked very inviting but we were disappointed not to be able to use it due to rain. On our walks we saw many deer and other wildlife. Big Rapids and the Canadian Lakes areas were fun to visit. Robert was very friendly and attentive from start to finish. We would definitely come back.

very beautiful cabin! this is the second cabin of Robert's that we have stayed at and so far our favorite. very secluded, but close enough to check out some local towns. very clean inside, I expected to see some bugs being in the woods but we didn't see any inside at all. were looking forward to checking out the land here over the winter! Enjoyed our stay. The cabin and the property were both beautiful and secluded. The host was wonderful and we had no issues finding the cabin. There are lots of things to do in the area, but we just wanted to relax and take it easy. I would recommended this cabin for anyone looking for a peaceful, secluded get away.

The log cabin was very secluded and remote. Everything was as describe or even better than expected. We enjoyed the long walks in the woods with our dogs and coming back to the wood stove to warm up. We are planning another trip up as soon as time allows. Robert was a great host and quick to answer the phone or text. Thanks again for the great time up north.

The husband and I made a last-minute decision to do a quick getaway, and this place was perfect! It is big enough for a family yet cozy for a couple. We loved all the windows and the open concept. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the refrigerator had condiments. Just a heads-up. I always bring a hairdryer but didn't on this short trip. My mistake! It is not listed in the amenities, and I totally missed seeing that. We all understand that things happen in life and business, but it is how someone responds that makes all the difference! The people prior to us lost the remote to the tv, but Robert called on someone to get one to us that night. You can be confident in booking with them! Great communication, too. We hope to book this place for Christmas!

This cabin is a stunner! it's absolutely gorgeous and the surroundings are so peaceful. This is the first airbnb where I felt like we were important guests. The beds were so comfortable, the house was so clean, and we felt safe! We cannot wait to go again! Just a little heads up though, which really didn't deter us at all, read Robert's thorough instructions on how to get there! He set us up for success and we ignored it completely. whoops! Also, as the temps went up, the ground is pretty muddy and the road was pretty rough in spots. TOTALLY expected in warm, rainy winters, just something to keep in mind! This place is exactly as described, remote, beautiful, peaceful, calm. (We still had great cell service too so not -too- remote) If you want nightlife and bougie, this isn't it. Bring all that you need and relax in the nature surrounding you! Trust us, you'll be wanting to stay longer!

Let me start by saying that Robert’s cabin and the property are beautiful and we enjoyed our stay there. I would have loved to leave a five star rating, but I had to lower it because of my interactions with the host. Upon arrival, we found a large pile of dog poop on the bedroom floor, and later found mice in the kitchen, mouse poop in the kitchen drawers and in the clean dish towels, dirty dishes and a broken dishwasher, and a couple other small issues. Because of this, we asked for a very modest refund of just the cleaning fee, which we thought was more than reasonable. Rather than just agree to this easy resolution, Robert insisted repeatedly that he would issue the refund only after the review period, implying that we would need to leave a 5-star review in order to receive the refund. Holding my refund hostage struck me as not only bad guest service, but also unethical host behavior. He went on to say that he asks guests not to leave a review unless they leave a 5.

A true log cabin, set in beautiful surroundings.

This location is a beautiful get away, it is very secluded and private. It is a great size to accommodate a group. There are a lot of amenities that made our trip run smooth. Robert is very detailed in his explanations and provides many clarifications. Almost every question you have is answered. The home has a fun layout and is even more quant than the photos provide. The only problem we had was difficulty finding the home due to its secluded and private spot. The maps directions label the house before this one as the destination. Other than that confusion it’s amazing! Beautiful log cabin, would recommend!

Gorgeous cabin, really peaceful location.

Amazing place! Great scenery and privacy, Robert is an excellent host.

It was a short, yet wonderful stay. After getting out of work late, Robert was flexible with check-in time and answered when I called at 10:30 with questions about finding the place. Once there, it was just what the doctor ordered. The setting was beautiful and very private with a great view of the river below. The cabin itself was well furnished, tastefully decorated, and had most things we needed. We cooked in the kitchen, watched movies and talked in the rocking love seat in the living room, and played board games in the loft upstairs. My girlfriend and I had a great weekend and she’s already asking when we can go back. If you’re looking for a cozy, beautiful place to spend a weekend, you’ve found the right place.

Awesome location and ambiance. Very accurate to the photos and fast communication and attention to guest services and needs. The only thing a bit deceiving was that it states there’s a King Size bed, but it’s actually two separate twin beds together as one.

Don’t be fooled by the pictures. As beautiful as it looks in the pictures, the place (cabin and land) is at least 10 times more beautiful in person. I could write about this cabin for days, but to keep it short: it’s large, cozy, comfy, located on a hill with a river running behind it. Lots of woods and hills around it. I also said River. Also, lots of downed trees for the bonfire (summer) or wood burning stove/fireplace (winter). For real, the description and pictures don’t do it any justice!!! If I were Robert, I would hire me ☺️ to take more pictures and rewrite the description. To his defense, a picture can only capture so much, therefore you have to go walk, see and feel it in person to really appreciate it. Now quit wasting your time reading this review and book it before I do, because God willing, I intend to stay there several more times this winter.

Robert's home was a great place for old friends to spend time together. There was plenty of room and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. The location is private and beautiful. His directions made it easy to find. We'd love to go back sometime.

Great cabin in a private wooded setting.

It's a beautiful cabin in a nicely wooded, secluded, and quiet area at the dead end of the road, so no neighbors or traffic to be seen or heard. Just what the doctor ordered. Host is very helpful and responsive. Make sure to bring groceries from outside the area as there doesn't seem to be any grocery stores other than minimally stocked convenience stores in the town or surrounding areas.

This home is perfect for a family that really wants to have a private woodsy type of experience. It's at the end of a private road and the land really allows kids to explore. My kids had fun gathering up firewood for a campfire at night to roast marshmallows. The cottage itself has a very open floor plan, which really invites family time. The house features a keypad entry, which is always a benefit for an Airbnb, as it allows easy check in and out. Large HDTV that features various streaming apps for those times where you just want to relax after a day out of activities. The kitchen is very well equipped with stainless steel appliances and accessories. The home is centrally located and easily allows day trips or local activities. The cottage is great for a well trained dog and Robert even has some toys and a bed pillow for your pet! Lots of beds and having two bathrooms is always a benefit when traveling with family. Very quiet area and allows for beautiful stargazing opportunities at night. The surrounding scenery coming into where the cabin is located is just beautiful. Robert the host was very professional and friendly, making himself easily available if there were any questions or concerns. Overall I would highly recommend this property to any families looking to get away from the city.

If you're looking for a place to enjoy some peaceful R&R, this is a Great place!! Lets you get a little off the beaten path (on stone roads when getting closer to cabin) and no neighbors right next to you! Staying at this more recently built accommodating cabin surrounded by nothing but trees and nature is great here! Also Robert was very easy to chat with and very helpful !

My wife and I booked this property over the weekend. We were both pleasantly surprised by the location and quality of the property. In all it exceeded our expectations. The cabin was updated, modern, and clean. It sat on a bluff that overlooked the Muskegon River. Dense trees and lush green foliage surrounded the property. The wooded lot was great for hiking and enjoying Mother Nature. Robert, the owner, was professional, friendly and attentive.
