We had a great stay at the cabin! It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a fantastic weekend. Thanks for a great trip!

Positives: outstanding location for those that like to go far away from the hustle and bustle and get lost in the trees. The layout of the home is perfect for a group setting. I would book this place again for a week long trip if I could. Negatives: It seemed like we got short changed on a couple things. The boat is in disarray - was not clean or organized, the door was open when we showed up and the campfire/outdoor area looked like the last person just left. Also the picture shows a gas grill but we got a charcoal stand. Minor complaints but when I pay a lot of money for a stay, hotel or Airbnb, I’m expecting to inherit what I see in the pictures. Result: 4/5

This Airbnb was very nice just as described. The river was nice having right off of the back patio. The beds were very comfortable. That has been kind of a rough one when it comes to Airbnb accommodations for me overall this was a very nice day definitely worth the money and it was very convenient. I would definitely be interested in returning outside of a work trip and bringing the family very well laid out very tasteful decorating and beautiful kitchen.

We had an amazing time at the cabin. The interior was beautiful and the furniture matched the description. The home was cozy and inviting. They had lots of games to entertain us and my kids enjoyed it thoroughly. The provided kitchen utensils and this made cooking pretty easy. We enjoyed the grill and the fire pit. Lots of outdoor activities to do. I would recommend the cabin for adventure or just merely staying in.

Host was super friendly and responsive, always answered questions and was willing to accommodate our needs. Had a great time hanging out with my friends here. Lots of areas to hang out together whether its the Hot tub on the back patio, the fire pit or fishing off of the pontoon. Plenty of table space inside for meals and group activities. Overall, great place to stay.

Great cabin. Very kind host and let us have a late check out since we were only staying one night. Very comfortable and quiet. It is out of the way, so if you stay, plan meals because driving back in to the town of Evart is about 20 min. one way. We did bring some groceries so we were all set.

Beautiful cabin very pretty. The furniture was very comfortable, the hot tub was great. We had an issue with the oven and dishwasher but the host was very responsive and offered to send someone to fix it they are dog friendly, and we enjoyed the fire pit! I would recommend taking lots of mosquito spray! Overall it was a wonderful place to stay.

My husband loves the outdoors and nature, and we found this place as a last minute getaway for his birthday. First, the price is unbeatable. With how beautiful and secluded the property is, as well as how many amenities this property offers, I couldn't believe how inexpensive this stay was. There's so much to do, from kayaking to nostalgic board games to time in the hot tub, we experienced the perfect relaxing getaway without ever getting bored. I would 100% recommend this place to others, and would love to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay and could not have asked for a better experience. The host was incredibly accommodating and made everything easy and comfortable for us. The view of the river was beautiful and the hot tub and fireplace make it feel especially cozy and relaxing. The kitchen was fully stocked with any cooking utensil needed, and the beds were very comfortable with truly luxurious pillows. Every detail contributed to making our short celebration feel special and memorable. We loved every second of our stay and are already looking forward to booking again.

This was the most perfect cabin for a winter weekend getaway! Everything was cozy, comfortable and in good working order. The views are amazing. It was a beautiful quiet place. I am 53 so the very firm bed didn’t agree with my body at all but overall the place was great. Perfect for a lone getaway with my two little dogs in January.

I wanted to get away with my favorite people for a few days for my birthday. This was a great choice. Everyone loved it and talked about going back in the future once we went back to reality. The cabin itself was beautiful inside, plenty of space and was a relaxing place to visit. The location was great being right next to the river. We spent our nights in the hot tub under the moon and stars, which really helped us relax more than we thought we needed. They had plenty of games to play to help you feel young at heart. I would recommend.

Overall we had a great experience at this cabin. It was very cozy with the fireplace, it gave a real cabin feel. Last minute I decided to bring my dog, and the host was very accepting. The Nintendo does not have the right adaptor for the TV, so we were unable to use it. We stayed inside for the most part due to the weather, so we didn’t end up using the hot tub or any outside activities. It was very cozy, welcoming and clean. We would go back to another of the properties again in the future.

We had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin! The location on the river is unbeatable, offering the perfect combination of tranquility and stunning views. The cabin itself was clean, super cute, and very comfortable everything we needed for a relaxing escape. The hot tub was definitely a highlight, especially in the evening when you could unwind while listening to the sounds of the river. The overall vibe was warm and inviting, making it feel like a true home away from home. We also really appreciated that the cabin was dog friendly. It made the trip even better to be able to bring our pups along and enjoy the outdoors together.

This cabin is absolutely beautiful. The house was very clean and well stocked and had all the pots and pans I needed to make a great meal. Beds are very comfortable and I appreciated the cotton sheets. Robert is great to work with and will settle any issues that you may have. Great fireplace in the cabin, though it did get very smoky in the house.

We Loved our stay at this property! This home was peaceful, relaxing, and perfectly appointed. My husband enjoyed fishing from the pontoon while I relaxed and read a book. The river was beautiful and peaceful. Absolutely loved the pontoon as a deck. We had morning coffee and evening cocktails down there while enjoying the view. The kitchen had everything you needed to make meals and is a great layout. The bed was comfy and we appreciated all the closet and drawer space so we didn’t have to live out of a suitcase for the week. Robert was unbelievably helpful with a couple of questions I had and super quick to respond. We were impressed and while still there discussed future stays at this property as well as checking out some of the other properties they have. Can’t say enough good things honestly!

It was absolutely beautiful and serene, simple and very comfortable. The hot tub was amazing and hot. The sky was loaded with stars. We had a bonfire. The two decks were beautiful right on the river kayaking was amazing that they also provided the kayaks.!!

A very quiet and peaceful spot with beautiful views of the Muskegon River. The wooded area provided lots of shade so it stayed cool even though it was over 90 degrees one of the days were were there. My family had a fantastic time! Very beautiful scenery down by the river. We used the kayaks and swam in the river. Also, watched eagles fly around during the day and watched the stars at night, all from tge rivers edge. Great experience!

Rented a cabin for the 4th of July. My family had an amazing time. we had so much time to relax, enjoy the kayaks and tubs on the river, went fishing, had many fires. The cabin and property had everything we needed for the perfect family getaway.

Cozy, inviting cabin with a fantastic view over the river and the woods beyond, with no cabins across the river. Very clean, and fantastic communication -- I'd give them 6 stars on communication if I could. We had a minor hiccup with the coffeemaker, and within a half-hour of contacting them, the problem was more than resolved. Comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen. Outdoor firepit AND indoor fireplace, which was great when it got cold and windy our second day.

Wanted to get out of town and enjoy some peace and quiet and this cabin was absolutely perfect. Could not have asked for a better stay, the scenery is gorgeous and everything was extremely clean and we felt very comfortable. Host was very responsive, friendly, and attentive. This location checked all the boxes and the house was clean and well appointed with all the necessary things you’d need on a weekend away. This place is just as pictured. By fault of us we did pass up by GPS ping but after looking for place for a minute we called Robert. He picked right up and was awesome In guiding us back to the cabin which was really right behind us. Opps. I couldn’t have asked for a more responsive n kind individual. Beautiful clean cabin. Beds very comfy!! Everything you need in the kitchen. Bathroom nicely done. Plenty of comfy blankets around! The place was warm n cozy n didn’t even light a fire(as to my husband’s sometimes laziness )😊 beautiful view from kitchen/living room area. We were there in winter (50 degrees in Feb) but I can imagine it being so beautiful once spring n summer roll around. To me “What a bang for the buck” very reasonable in my book. Thank you again for opening this beautiful home to all ❤️❤️

I had the best time here. Didn’t leave the Airbnb at all (which was exactly what i planned for a little solo getaway). The place looked just like the photos (which surprisingly isn’t always the case with Airbnbs). Being on the river and so secluded was perfect and relaxing. The host was extremely responsive and helpful during my trip! Would stay again!

We had a lovely wintery getaway at this cabin! The fireplace was great and we loved the open layout with lots of areas to spend time (couches, table, kitchen). Bedrooms were cozy and comfortable. Very quiet around there and perfect for our reading retreat away from the city.

I am still in awe of how wonderful a time I had at this cabin! It’s “glamping” with emphasis on the “glamour.” You can spend your days making endless fires, inside or outside, lose yourself in the sounds of the gentle river cruising by, or go for a jog through the surrounding area. I guarantee that you’ll be so happy you’ve chosen to stay here. I love this cabin and experience with my whole heart! I for sure will be booking again in the future, as will anyone who gets the opportunity to drink tea on the back porch and enjoy the peace.

awesome cabin. it was just the two of us, but i'd imagine it'd be really fun with 4 people. really nice kitchen with a huge island. right next to the river. comfortable bed. we may go back in the wintertime and bring more friends to play cards and sit around the fireplace.

Not many places on here match what you see in pictures but this place was everything as advertised. If you’re looking for a great get away spot, look no further.

We had a wonderful time enjoying nature from our perch above the river. The cabin was well-appointed with everything we needed. It felt cozy, but big enough for the four of us to spread out. We loved the remote location, but we took the short drive to Cadillac for dinner one night. The kayaks were a great way to fully enjoy the river; we were surprised how easy it was to paddle upstream around a few bends before lazily floating back.

We had a great time at this cabin with our 2 dogs! Very peaceful location in the woods next to the river. There was ample space for the dogs to run around and play. The cabin was awesome! We just loved everything about it: the log cabin feel, the openness of the living room & kitchen, the interior decorations, etc. It was just awesome and really worth it for a weekend getaway. I highly recommend staying at this cabin and specifically with Forest and Flow! This is our 3rd year staying at one of their rentals and they never disappoint. :)

The hosts were amazing! We booked very last minute at 8:30 pm. They responded right away to give us lots of helpful info for arriving in the night and was quick with helping and answering questions. The house was amazing and the views stunning. Location was a bit a ways from things like good food or shopping. But that's what we needed for a more unplugged get away. Especially since the home had amenities available to us right where we were. The river out back was great to have access too as well. Loved that board games were available to play like sequence. One of our favorites. Just wished the Nintendo System as pictured was there as we were looking forward to that. The home had plenty of space and bed was comfortable. We would definitely look into booking again if we go back to that area. And would highly recommend the place to our friends and family if they are looking to book a vacation.

This was the second Forest & Flow cabin we've stayed at and both exceeded our expectations. The cabin is absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views of the river. We had a wonderful weekend. During a cabin hunt of our own we stopped at kaleidoscope coffee in Lake and Stonehouse winery (I'd recommend both), were able to pick up a ton of roadside firewood on our way back, cooked steaks over the fire, and had a relaxing night under the stars. The hosts are quick to respond and very helpful. I highly recommend any of Forest & Flow's cabins.

We had a great time here (even though the weather didn't cooperate). Cabin was wonderful, with great amenities and room for the family to spread out. Kitchen and bathroom were well equipped, and the laundry was a nice bonus. We didn't get a chance to use the outdoor fire pit, but the fireplace worked well. Also, despite the early season poor weather, we were able to enjoy the river via the lovely view, and the included kayak's.

Great place! cute and cozy! the view of the river was amazing from the balcony, sliding door windows and the dock!

This cabin is in a beautiful spot, and my husband and I felt right at home. We had everything we needed to cook for ourselves, and the cabin had all the comforts we could want. We visited in March, but I can imagine the river would be so much fun in the warmer months! If you are looking for a private get-away, this will fit the ticket. We could just barely see the neighboring cabins through the trees, but I bet by spring, when the leaves are on the trees, you won't be able to see them at all. And it was so peaceful! We would gladly go back another time.

This rental was the perfect place for a quiet relaxing vacation! It reminded me so much of being in Michigans upper peninsula without the drive!

The remote setting on the river was very nice. We saw a bobcat and several deer in the woods across the river. Very nice amenities and the fireplace worked great! Highly recommended.

Beautiful Relaxing setting. Very comfortable and cozy cabin. Wood fire place made it especially cozy. Great communication. saw many eagles and deer. We had a wonderful stay! Will be back !

I stayed for 5 nights with my 2 dogs and even though I still had to work, it was amazing and relaxing, the dogs loved it, it really has a better view than the photos even show, honestly everything looks even better in person Another bonus was the wifi, for a more remote location wifi can be hit or miss, I streamed the whole time plus on my 2 phones wifi plus laptop and worked beautifully! As someone who often has to work remotely on a moments notice that is so key and hard to find in this kind of setting (I’ve been to a lot of cabins and really this one probably had the best wifi service)

I have stayed at 3 different homes hosted by Forest and Flow. They are fantastic hosts with beautiful homes and have everything you need for a great stay!

What a beautiful place to be in a blizzard! We loved relaxing on the comfortable couch watching the snow fall. I slept like a log on the firm mattress, perfection! Snow removal was done quicker than expected, and the gentleman driving the truck was friendly and helpful. I'm hoping to convince the other half to take me away for another weekend soon.

Beautiful beautiful place. We were up visiting family nearby. It was cold and dreary and rainy. But the indoor space of the cabin was perfect and we were very comfortable for the night and morning we were there. We’d love to come and stay a week in the summer sometime in the near future.

We had a wonderful experience at Forest and Flow’s cabin from arrival through departure! It was a warm and cozy winter experience! We can only imagine the fun it would be in warmer weather!! The host was extremely easy to communicate with and very helpful!

Each morning I woke up and literally gasped at the view of the trees and river through the full wall of windows. Everything was fantastic.

Property was amazing with all the amenities comforts of home we had an awesome time at Forest and Flows property on the river!! Highly recommend, and we look forward to seeing you again in the future..

We loved the windows overlooking the river and the extremely well stocked kitchen and also the fall colors. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. We cooked, we went canoeing, biked on dirt roads, sat by the fire. Our favorite adventure was through the "arts and crafts" trails up the road from the house.

Great spot to relax in the woods. The cabin looks great and has modern touches. The floating Dock with Kayaks is amazing and fun. The fire pit area is a sweet spot to look at stars. This spot is also pet friendly. Would definitely recommend this cabin, we had a great stay.

Beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The river was really calm and fun to canoe! The interior of the cabin was beautiful, clean, and had all the amenities you'd need for a vacation.

Kind host. Great location. Quiet and peaceful. The river was very clean and water was clear. The water was also quite cold, so bring your suit-of-bravery. 🤣 There are no grocery stores nearby, only gas stations. So, try to bring all your needs. Otherwise, you will be sending your teenagers for cookie mix that will take an hour round trip! 😋😂

This cabin is beautifully clean and modern without losing its cabin vibe. Gorgeous wood interior, spotless, well organized, stocked with everything you might need, and sitting in the middle of some beautiful woods overlooking the river. The 3 outdoor living/seating areas were each unique and lovely: the deck with a grill and plenty of seating just outside the kitchen separated by a wall of windows, the fire pit with seating and an opening through the trees to look at the stars, and down the (27-with a handrail) steps to the floating dock on the river, where you can use the two kayaks, or the canoe to paddle up river and float back down, or bring a meal or snacks down. We stayed mostly at the cabin because there is plenty to do: walk, paddle, swim, cook, have meals, fires (outdoor fire ring and indoor fireplace), play one of the many well stocked games. The 3 bedrooms, beds, linens, towels, and bathroom are clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this beautiful place.

Beautiful space, responsive hosts! I hope they will have me again as I want to make this a yearly thing! I wish I could’ve stayed longer. There was no TV nor WiFi which honestly makes sense! It does allow you to forest and flow! I didn’t bring work with me so it was luckily not needed. Overall great stay!

We had a great stay. We left some firewood behind for the next group that stays here. There were 2 kayaks and 1 canoe and the river is absolutely gorgeous up or down. Also there is not a television at all, one of us got sick and it just would have been nice to watch something when by themselves. It was an amazing get away from the city. The property was beautiful and cozy.
