We enjoyed our stay!

we really enjoyed our stay… being right on the river and able to kayak and enjoy nature was exactly what we needed! the home covered all of our basic needs and the hot tub was a great plus!!

We had a really nice stay here for our family of 6 plus dog. The listing was accurate, and the basic and expected necessities were all there. No frills or extras, but nothing missing. The dog tie up in the back was a great touch. Note if you have a larger group it will probably be a little tight. You might want to bring along some of the extras, like chargers/extension cords, camping chairs/table (if you’re more than 4), coffee, etc. Neighbors were a little closer than expected, but no one seemed to be home when we were there, so it was super quiet and private. Overall a very peaceful stay, beautiful location, and a great place to spend the evenings around the fire. We even caught a few fish off the dock! Hosts were really responsive and helpful too. Thanks for a great vacation!

We had an amazing stay. We were looking for a place that was nice and sandy on the water and this place was perfect. You climbing down a ladder to the river. It’s rocky the first 5 feet but after that you can begin to walk and it gets more and more shallow. It’s completely sandy, no muck, no seaweed. You can even walk to the middle of the river and sit down in the sand as the water passes by because it becomes so shallow. The hot tub was amazing, nice fire pit. The place was clean and had everything we needed. We called a local company and got a truck load of firewood delivered right to us and we also got pizza delivered. It’s nice and secluded but very accessible. Would most definitely book again!

The host was incredible! Booked us on a last minute notice. Had the property beautifully cleaned. And even allowed us to use his property after check out to enjoy the river utilizing his kayaks. Amazing customer service and super friendly. Will 10000% rent again.

The view of the river is perfect. We floated from Old Log Campground to the house. It was perfect. We got on the river at 10 am and we were off at 4 pm, with plenty of fishing and stops.

Very scenic location on the Muskegon River. Nice backyard space where you can sit around the fire pit and enjoy views of the river. Cabin has air conditioning, which was a key feature for our mid-July stay. Temperatures were approaching 100 degrees outside, but inside the cabin was comfortable, even in the upstairs sleeping area. Host was very responsive. He reached out as we were driving to the cabin to inform us the internet was down. He then drove several hours to try to repair the issue. Detailed instructions for arrival and check-out were also provided. My family greatly enjoyed our stay here, and we would be happy to come back again.

Obviously other people have mentioned the carpet and yes, there are stains. But the place is clean. The view is unmatched and if you get the chance, you definitely need to float down the river. From their place to the Sears Bridge if you float in a tube it’s about 6 miles and it took about 3 1/2 hours. I was by myself so it might be a little slower with more people tied together. Gorgeous location. There were two other cabins close by but nobody was there so it felt very secluded. Very nice hosts very responsive and there’s a couple of Dollar General‘s around the area if you need supplies or anything.

We had a great time. Fishing in the Muskegon river all day and night was a highlight for us. There's a park right up the road that's a great entry point for kayaking and tubing the river. The place was cool as it was in the 90's outside so we had a comfortable stay.

We had a great stay overall! One of our favorite parts was being able to kayak right from the Airbnb down to the Sears Swimming Bridge. We parked our car at the bridge, rode our bikes back to the cabin, and then floated down the river with our little Morkie. It worked out perfectly! The bike ride is on a main road, but since we were there on a Tuesday, traffic was very light and we felt completely safe. The cabin wasn’t as secluded as we expected based on the listing, but fortunately no one was staying at either neighboring home during our visit, so it was still peaceful and quiet. The cabin could use some updating, especially the carpet, which showed quite a bit of wear. That said, it was comfortable, and the location made for an awesome kayaking getaway. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for easy river access and a relaxing trip.

From start to finish, we had a great time. Robert is a great host and as responsive to any questions we had. The cabin was an adorable, river front, place to just relax and unwind! We especially enjoyed the outdoor setup, firepit area, and the overall relaxing atmosphere. The hosts were responsive, provided detailed instructions, and made check-in very smooth. The property had everything we needed for a fun and comfortable getaway with friends. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet nature escape in Michigan.
