Place was great for a private place that has lots of beautiful trails and deer out in front of the porch every day.

Had a great time. The trails were great and well groomed. We saw deer both mornings. Also got to see some pigs and cows while on one of our nature walks on the property. If you love nature just book the cabin you won’t be sorry! The cabin is VERY secluded. We will be back.

The Forest and Flow's private setting and impressive walkable trails set this place apart your typical rustic log cabin in the woods. If you enjoy a dark, star-filled sky, you'll appreciate it here. While our schedule didn't allow enough time to enjoy the firepit and barrel sauna, they are nice amenities. I always appreciate hosts that open their homes to canine companions and the communication from the host was excellent.

This magical place was clean, secluded, and beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed the trails throughout the property with plenty of birds and deer, and the cabin was perfect for us and our two dogs. Enjoyed checking out the small towns and parks in this area of MI that we haven't spent much time in.

Perfect for a weekend away with our dog! We loved walking the beautiful trails, enjoyed reading on the big sunny porch and relished the peace and quiet of the woods. We also enjoyed our breakfast at the Lamplighter cafe in town and walking around the local farmer’s market! The house itself was comfy but a bit more rustic than we thought and it could have been a little cleaner. Totally fine for our purposes though!

We loved our time at the cabin! The walking trails were amazing and so was the fire pit. The house was just like the pictures except there were only 2 chairs on the porch and by the fire but Robert said we were welcome to move them where we wanted so it was no problem. We loved how remote it was but we were also only an 8 minute drive from town. Highly recommend! We did bring a few extra fans because the rustic cabin doesn’t have central A/C, but the temps weren’t bad even on an 82 degree day in August, and you won’t want to spend all day inside anyway with the trails on the property to explore and a swimming beach and river just a few minutes away.

Best kept secret in Evart, MI! We absolutely loved the peacefulness and walk through the fields. Mowed out and walkable like a maze. Charming and cozy cabin. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay. The house is off the beaten path, which was awesome. We wish there were more than 2 chairs around the firepit and more ways to help keep the house cool. We loved walking the trails amd sitting on the front porch. We got to see deer, turkeys, and rabbits on the property, which we loved. We had four people in our party and it was roomy enough. We enjoyed the games that were provided. We would love to visit again in the future.

This Airbnb is absolutely stunning! We had such an amazing time unwinding and relaxing at this beautiful cabin. We walked the trails behind the property and got to see some deer. We also went for a car ride around the area and seen so much wildlife. If you want a clean, comfortable cabin to make you feel right at home, this is the one. Will be back!

Very peaceful stay! My pup loved exploring the property, and my quiet coffee mornings with all the birds coming up to the porch were fabulous. I love to cook and found that I had everything I needed.

The cabin was super easy to find, sat back off road and was surrounded by trees and everything was in good condition, planning on staying again in the future.

Absolutely loved this winter cabin stay. The place was beautifully finished in wood throughout, giving it a cozy, high-end cabin feel. The sauna was fantastic!! perfect after a cold day. Everything felt clean, well thought out, and welcoming. My only very minor note is that I couldn’t find coffee or sugar, but I’m sure it was there and I just missed it. The host was consistently helpful, quick, and responsive! Overall an amazing experience and easily a 10/10. Would 100% stay again.

I wanted a nice place to bring my kids for a little getaway. The house and surrounding property were absolutely beautiful. The house was well stocked and comfortable, the property has some nice walking trails, and the sauna is a great way to get the day started. Robert was very responsive and checking in/out was a breeze. I highly recommend this place and will definitely keep this as a place to come back to.

Cabin was well appointed and clean upon arrival. Enjoyed the serenity but close enough to town for shopping or food. Would totally rent again.

A real hidden gem !!!!!

We had a lovely stay! The cabin was peaceful, clean, and just as described. The host was quick to reply with any questions. The bed was super comfortable, and we really enjoyed cooking out on the charcoal grill. Our pup Stella especially loved the open yard and mowed paths through the property—she spent hours chasing butterflies. We even say a wild turkey pass through the yard one evening. If you have a few favorite DVDs, bring them along—it’s a great spot to relax with a movie or two in the evenings. A great little escape if you’re looking to unplug and unwind.

Second time staying at this beautiful cabin. I was afraid that the second time wouldn’t live up to the expectations set on my first stay. The second time was even better than the first time! The place is clean, spacious and beautiful! The area is peaceful and private! We had an amazing time and I’m already planning my next visit!

Great cabin and property! We loved staying at the cabin, it was very peaceful and quiet. We absolutely loved the well groomed trails and our beagle loved them even more! We seen a great abundance of wildlife while sitting outside and walking the trails. If you're looking for a spotless, fancy and luxurious cabin or you're a picky person you might want to look elsewhere. However if you're someone like myself that don't seek absolute perfection and love a secluded cabin getaway from the everyday hustle and bustle this is a SOLID choice! As soon as we took a step in the door the house was exactly what we were hoping for: clean, quiet, and most importantly we felt right at home. The land is very peaceful and our puppy loved being able to run off leash, but there are many ticks so come prepared for that! Overall a very lovely home and we enjoyed every second.

Exactly what we were looking for! Returning to America after six months in a third world country, we wanted a peaceful location to recover and readjust. The log house was perfect. We spent lots of time just watching the deer and enjoying the quiet. We found everything in good working condition. Kitchen is well supplied with the necessary dishes. Bed was very comfortable. Would stay again if we get the opportunity.

What a beautiful and peaceful cabin! We truly enjoyed the large porch, listening to the winds and sounds of nature. The host was quick to respond to inquiries and gave easy to understand and thorough instructions for the property. They even warned the trails might be muddy due to recent rains and advised we bring boots. Very helpful and friendly.

My boyfriend and I had the best time at this place! It’s truly the best place to get away from life and unplug and reconnect with nature. To the walking trails and the turkeys in the morning nothing could’ve been more peaceful. We recommend bringing Dvds (Non blue ray) as a way to relax and watch a movie!

Enjoyed a lot clean comfortable space

Incredible cabin! My boyfriend and I stayed three nights during Christmas and it was absolutely magical. The whole forest around the cabin was covered in snow, which made for a beautiful landscape to walk around in the mornings. The cabin is very private surrounded by a large amount of natural space to walk around. Gorgeous! The cabin itself was clean and sooo homey. Loved the lighting. I think the experience would be even better if the dining room chandelier lights were warm instead of cool lighting tbh! But that’s just a small quip. The only real feedback I have is that 1.) there were house flies that kept appearing dead around the cabin as well as randomly flying around 2.) we didn’t realize there wouldn’t be a water filter for us to use and the water tasted a lot like iron, so make sure you bring your own water supply! Specially in winter when roads can be iced and you can’t easily access a store 3.) Would’ve loved some more cooking utensils. Overall, incredible place!!!

A beautiful sanctuary in the middle of the rolling hills of central Michigan farm country. Birds and wildlife a plenty. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to others.

Beautiful private place in the woods. The cabin was perfect for what we needed. Great manicured walking trails on the property. Loved this place! I will say there was a lot of flies around the windows and on the floor but most were dead. Had to vacuum up the flies upon arrival and by the time we left there was about the same amount of dead flies again. At least whatever bug protection that was used was working, just gross to walk in with PILES of dead flies in the windowsills and on the floor. Other than that this place was beautiful and I would still book again.

We had an amazing stay at this location. The cabin is very cozy, the property is picturesque, the nearby towns are charming and the people from the area that we met were friendly and welcoming. My husband, myself and our dogs found so many things to do both on the property and in the areas nearby. We truly wish we could have stayed longer. We were even able to re-live some childhood memories by playing a few games on the Nintendo! We cannot wait to go back and stay for another long weekend and appreciate the communication from Robert before, during and after our stay.

I decided at the last minute to find a quiet getaway where I could get some work done without distractions. This cabin fit the bill - a more than fair price and located in a quiet, private, beautiful spot. Personally, it was less than ideal because the dining table is a high top, which I find uncomfortable for working on a computer, but that was my own fault for not paying attention to the photos. This would really be an ideal place for a family with kids and dogs, as the walking trails are well maintained and a great place for dogs to roam (though probably not off-leash, as you don't want them chasing all the deer). There is a small town nearby with a well-stocked grocery store, three soft ice cream stands, a nice park and rail to trails in town and a second one 13 miles to the west, and many lakes in the area. The nearby Muskegon river is beautiful and great for kayaking and rafting. It is an hour to Lake Michigan. So this is a great place to get away and unwind. Highly recommend.

It was very quiet and peaceful! You feel like you're out in the middle of no where but town is only a few miles away. The cabin was nice and the covered porch was really convenient when it rained. We were able to sit out there and still be able to enjoy the outdoors. Communication was good and check-in was very easy. We enjoyed our stay!!

Evart is a gem to have found. J&J's River Run, AJ's Event Center, Ebel's Market, and KC's Party Store are just unique, fun places to go to. The property is nice. Read the reviews and the listing well! A few things to make your stay a success. 1. Drive the drive in slowly! It is very pitted with holes that would cause suspension issues. 2. Bring your firewood. 3. There is no central air! The rolling room AC unit does not fit the window openings well. This is not a slam on the property, just a fact to understand! Not a good time to go on the hottest week of the year Michigan, with a dog. 4. The listing states something about kayaks and canoes in the disclosure section... There are no kayaks or canoes. 5. The Ponds are not usable for recreation. 6. It is a relaxing place 7. The host is responsive 8. On-site laundry is AWESOME 9. Old-school Nintendo games for days, if the weather is bad 10. Verizon hotspot works great, bring one with you for internet.

Beyond stunning; stargazing is a must!! You can see the Milky Way faintly! Trails are easy to follow and fun to explore! Hosts are very responsive and proactive! Had an incredible time on our family vacation!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Robert's place. The cabin was beautiful! And, the setting was peaceful and relaxing. The kids especially loved toasting marshmallows around the fire pit. Any questions we asked was immediately responded to. To add to our experience, across the road from the cabin entrance we got to see an albino deer. Would definitely choose to stay here again!

We only stayed a few nights for a quick relaxing getaway…that it was! We especially appreciate being able to bring our yellow Labrador who had a blast in the relaxing atmosphere! Wish we had more time…!! Was a great place for relaxation and unwinding! Great property well maintained!!

Myself, my wife, and our dogs loved this property hosted by Forest and Flow. We wanted a getaway where we could unwind, unplug and relax; and this was the perfect location. The cottage is beautiful and includes all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We will definitely recommend the cottage and location to friends and family. I would not hesitate to book this cottage for another getaway in the near future.

What a beautiful place! We had such a great time, just lounging around, napping, reading, watching tv and doing a puzzle while listening to music on a rainy day. As well, as walking the trails, watching the deer and turkeys while reading on the porch, and even doing a little shopping in town. The Rusty Gold Antiques, Holihan's Drug Store, Ebels General Store for snacks & to make ourselves breakfast, and grabbing some food at Sixth & Main and pizza at B.C Pizza, the pizza was sooo good! Everyone in town was so friendly. The cabin was beautiful and cozy. Definitely an unforgettable experience, just hearing the sounds of nature (even at night!) Robert and hosts were so responsive, friendly & reassuring for me as this was our 1st time using airbnb & being in a cabin. A million thank yous!

The house was beautiful! Everything in the house was as listed. Very peaceful and quiet. This is the perfect place to unplug and unwind. I walked trails with my dogs, and they loved it! There was plenty of room for them to run around and lots of new scents to sniff. The house itself was very cozy and had everything I needed. The communication was great! Host responded quickly and was very accommodating, which made for a great trip! This is definitely a place I will tell my friends family about, and I personally would like to stay again!

This was a great stay and we really enjoyed ourselves. It’s the perfect “middle of nowhere” feel while still being 10 minutes away from anything you need.

This cabin was the perfect way to take a weekend away from the city and experience genuine peace and quiet. A snowstorm came in the night we arrived and we enjoyed being snowed inside of this beautiful, cozy cabin. Our dog loved the freedom of exploring the property & we even took her on a mini hike! Our favorite amenities included the washer and dryer (lifesaver) as well as black out curtains for the lofted bedroom! We were able to sleep in as late as we wanted. If you have a chance, go check out the cute little town of Evart. The locals are all super friendly and helpful. Rusty Gold antiques was a total treasure cove. We’ll be back in the summer!

We had a great time at the cabin. The size was great for our family - 2 young kids and a dog. It had all the amenities to make our stay comfortable and convenient. The outside property was great as well. Lots of area and trails for our kids to explore. We originally planned to hike nearby but the weather was colder than anticipated with some wind and precipitation so we ended up staying in at the cabin the whole time playing card and dice games as a family and bird watching. It was great for us. We especially enjoyed the seclusion. Our dog is easily stressed and doesn't like strangers so being able to stay somewhere where there are no neighbors is perfect and this property provided just that.

I absolutely loved this cabin. my wife and I went for our one year anniversary. and we have 8 kids at home. so this peaceful country escape was amazing. it was way out in the middle of nowhere. and even though it rained the whole time. we totally enjoyed ourselves. we even walked the 20 acres of trails in the rain. since they provided a washer and dryer. it was no problem to just throw our wet clothes in the wash. (they had laundry soap available). they also had shampoo and conditioner. all the cleaning supplies you could need. long story short it was a great stay. the pricing was misprinted on the airbnbin site I believe. the site said it was 69 a night. but we ended up paying almost 200. but In the end. it wasn't a bad deal. but next time. I will want to stay longer one night was not enough. we will be bringing our kids back next time. so to any future stays, my only recommendation is, bring your own dvds. or Xbox games board games or even a game console. because there is no wifi.

Stunning location. Absolutely gorgeous. Could not recommend more if you need a quiet getaway especially during the fall season. The host was phenomenal and very responsive. 10 out of 10 would recommend every time.

The cabin was beautiful and was what the description said it was! It was peaceful, beautiful property, lots of trails to walk and well groomed! The only thing that would have been good for us was nice sturdy front porch chairs…there were chairs but my fiancé has back and hip problems and uses a cane and the adorandack chairs are hard for him to get out of! We highly recommend this property if you want a beautiful, private and relaxing get a way! We will definitely be back!

We are more than happy with our stay here. The cabin was cozy but definitely not small. It was the perfect sized cabin for a couole for family of 4-5. My husband and I stayed there and it was so peaceful and quiet. We took a walk around the property at sunset. It was gorgeous. We ordered in for the first night from Pompeii’s pizza in Evart. The garlic butter is the best. The next morning, we woke to a couple deer munching apples in the yard. What a great way to start the day. We enjoyed a slow morning with coffee on the porch and listening to the birds. We took a long walk around the 20 acres and it was just perfect. There were so many beautiful (and freshly cut) curvey paths to walk on. Advice -pack extra shoes and socks because your feet will be soaked if you go in the morning. Also, nearby in Cadillac, we ate at The Raven Social and it was amazing. Their pesto tomato Grilled cheese and tomato soup was to die for. Highly recommend this cabin for a serene getaway.

We loved exploring the property! I'm already looking forward to visiting again in the future. The house was very clean. The only thing that would make it better would be if guests had access to wifi. We could not bring our work laptops and stay for longer. Otherwise, everything was great, and I highly recommend!

Log cabin was great and the property was peaceful. Secluded area with nice set of trails to walk. The cabin has everything you could need. It was a great spot to stay at while we fished, biked, golfed and went tubing in the area. We would stay here again.

Wow. What can I not say about this place! If there was a 10 star rating it would get that! My family and I stayed here for 5 days and was an unforgettable vacation for us. My two sons, 11 & 7, both loved it. From the beautiful, winding trails, to the surprise pond we found with frogs, they had, in their words, the time of their lives! My 11 year old even pitched a tent by the fire pit a walk a way from the main cabin and said it was amazing:) Communication was perfect and the host made sure we made it and had everything we needed. The cabin was clean and well-maintained. My husband already wants to book again! Thanks for the wonderful experience!

We have stayed at this property three times now with our dogs. We keep coming back because the property is wonderful. It’s peaceful and secluded and our dogs love running the trails on the property. The hosts are responsive and helpful. We will continue to make trips to this property!

My friends and I enjoyed a weekend getaway and it was prefect. The cabin and property are beautiful. I was so happy it is a dog friendly property and my dog was living her best life on the trails and rolling around the ground. We seen deer and turkeys, heard quite of few differnt animals while we were there too. This is definitely a place to stay and share with friends. Also the host Robert was really helpful, polite and answered quickly. So much fun and beauty in a weekend getaway.

Excellent place to get away. It was almost too quiet 😂. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Things to know which aren’t negative. T-Mobile service is nonexistent so you will have no communication with the outside world if you have them. If it is wet, the mosquitoes are horrible. Bring repellent. Lastly there are a ton of deer around so if your dog is a chaser, good luck! Will definitely go back.

Such a beautiful, private cabin. If you're looking for something that feels remote and peaceful, this is the place! Things I liked... First off Robert is an amazing host. He's very responsive and the company is proactive. Excellent The cabin is super cute! Great size for two or a small family with plenty of space for our fur baby. The couch is very comfy. The kitchen has supplies but if you plan in really cooking you might want to bring some extra things This is just a statement...the bed was firm. Had a great time and will keep this in my "keep folder". Thank you for a great night. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

My husband and I were looking for a place to spend the night near Evart after dropping our daughter off at overnight camp. This cabin was the perfect place for us. It was close to the camp, provided plenty of space, and was very quiet. Robert was very proactive with his communication and provided very clear and detailed directions and house instructions. The cabin was decorated nicely, was very clean, and had a large outdoor space to walk around and just relax. We would definitely recommend this place to others!

I was taken aback by the beauty of just the home itself, admiring all the grains in the wood and interesting construction of a log cabin. Beware of the couch, we got sucked in by it and took naps twice over the weekend. Good getaway for rest and relaxation. Would definitely love to visit here again! If you are looking for a place to rest and relax amongst beautiful surroundings, this is the place for you. We were in need of some quiet family time. We were looking to "Unplug" for a few days. The cabin is much more than you would expect for a cabin. It is clean, comfortable, and just feels like home. The property is beautiful and the trails to walk were well groomed. Our favorite part was sitting outside on the covered porch looking out into the yard and woods, listening to all the sounds of different birds, roosters, chickens, wild turkeys, and more. We saw many of these amazing creatures as well. We will definitely stay again if we are back in the area.

Really clean, quiet, log-cabin spot down a dirt road. Cabin itself was really nice and there was space for bbq and lawn games. Fire pit was spacious, beds comfortable and the place was really clean. Would definitely stay here again, few things to note, there's no wifi and bring charcoal for bbq (no gas bbq). You can target practice but trap/skeet is not permitted on the property, plenty of areas around to find space to do that though. Host is really communicative and answers quickly.

Overall a fun little place to enjoy peace & quiet the inside was very nice, the bathroom was fairly clean but i dont know what was going on with the shower but it smelled bad like pee, there was stains everywhere in there that look like pee everywhere we did not use the shower but everything else was decent....

What a wonderful place! Cabin is beautiful and we loved that our dogs were welcomed with toys and water bowls! The weather while we were there was really raining and wet so we were not able to hike any of the trails but hopefully we will at our next stay! There was a lot of mud tracking because of the rain and would suggest some stone parking area and maybe some stone path to the porch. Overall we loved it and would definitely recommend this private vacation paradise!

The place was clean and Robert was nice. The road and and driveway were poorly maintained. There was no wifi and the house was left at 50 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter. It took many hours for it to warmup and we arrived late. As a result, had trouble keeping warm.

We had the best time! So much property to explore, we went for at least three walks a day with our dog just exploring the different paths. Chicken coop loop was our favorite with the surprise guest of a chicken! They have everything you need in the house and kitchen! We would come stay here again in a heartbeat!

We loved the remoteness of this place! The trails were incredible, and we loved seeing the different types of birds on property in the trees. Cleanliness was okay, as there were some pots and pans we had to clean before using. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay!

This is a perfect spot for a serene getaway. The cabin was EXTREMELY clean, VERY well taken care of, and has tons of character! It was also very well stocked with soap, kitchen necessities, and even laundry soap! Everything worked well and although the cabin doesn’t have wifi, there is still TV with some DVDs and some Xbox games to play! The hosts were extremely communicative, replying in 5 minutes or less, and checked in with us to make sure our stay was comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here and would love to stay here again myself!

This space was just amazing and out of the world!! We visited with some friends and our 2 dogs, and we can't wait to come back! Robert, Jami and team were very responsive and clear in their communication. The place was much more than what is in the pictures and AirBnb description, prepare to be very pleasantly surprised at the beauty & serenity of this place and enjoy every moment. The AirBnb is packed with everything you would need, and what I personally loved was that there was no WiFi available at this time and that gave us as a family to really take in the tranquility of the place and actually spend some quality time with each other. And if you're bringing your four-legged buddies, THEY ARE GOING TO LOVE IT!!! So much space to run around outside and then the beautiful trails :) I could not imagine anything better than this for a weekend away from the routine and be part of nature itself. Another amazing thing I wanted to share about Robert and team was that they accommodated a very last minute request I made to put some birthday decorations for my husband, and they made it happen so quickly and did it with so much love! It was again much more than I expected and I can't thank Robert, Jami and the team enough for making our weekend so special! :) CAN'T WAIT TO VISIT AGAIN SOON!!!

Wonderful spot, off the beaten path but close enough to town when you need something. The private trails on the property are so good we did not have to leave to find a hiking spot. Cabin is clean, up to date, much more comfortable that other similar places. Make sure to spend some time on the river if you visit!

The place was great! Quiet and private. The cabin was beautiful! It feels like you are secluded from the outside world. The trail was nice nice to explore with my dog, he had a blast running around. Don’t forget to check out the night sky at night, you can really see the stars twinkle!

I would recommend this to anyone and everyone! I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and we absolutely loved the Cabin! It’s so beautiful and it was extremely clean. Hosts are really friendly, helpful and reply back super quick! The cabin was really easy to locate. The trails were beautiful. While we were cooking dinner we saw deer in the yard, it was amazing. The pictures definitely don’t do it justice, it’s so beautiful inside and out! I WILL be staying here again the future when I come back to Michigan.

This cabin is close enough to town but secluded enough for a very relaxing stay! Host communication was wonderful, everything was very clean, and there were no surprises which is exactly what I look for in stays. All was great and I highly recommend this stay!

We enjoyed the place from the moment we arrived. We had such a great experience being there, very clean and well equipped property located in a quiet area and for sure we will recommend to all of our friends and family.

Calamine lotion will be a must and tiki torches! Lots of local restaurants and lakes to visit. Most of the restaurants dont open till noon though. Very peaceful place and beautiful home. Giant fire grill in the trails for cooking lots of meat.

This cabin is a gem! The land and trails are awesome and nice to have for a morning stroll. We enjoyed a bonfire and stargazing, there were such great views of the stars! The front porch was perfect for coffee and enjoying the sounds of nature. We stumbled upon the fire pit with grate while walking on the trails, it’s a little further from the cabin than expected but the small charcoal grill that was provided suited our cooking needs. Highly recommend for a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and everyday life!

Nice clean cabin and wonderful sites to explore nature. We most definitely would recommend anyone to stay and enjoy. Don’t forget firewood for outside.

Great escape from the modern world.

This is a beautiful location and the rustic cabin is exactly as advertised! The property is scenic with groomed trails and lots of wildlife. The owner is very responsive. We did find that some of the amenities were missing during our mid-June trip. (No grill, air conditioning unit, etc). Double check with the owner if something is important to you. Everything else was great! Excellent vacuums and floor cleaners. And we were pleasantly surprised that we had access to Netflix. One other thing to mention... there is no WiFi, even though it seems that there is a network available. My BF was able to connect remotely with his cell, I had absolutely nothing. Be ready to unplug and enjoy nature!

We had a Fantastic stay at Roberts cottage! The location was perfect and the 20 acre grounds is beautiful. The trails are super nice and overall the cabin is the perfect woods getaway. There is some places to eat within 10 minutes drive which was nice! I still had just fine cell service so that was a bonus! Definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a comfortable get away from civilization!

As described. A lovely setting in the woods. The two birds (black pheobe) living in a nest on the porch were lovely. The birds were always singing. We saw deer several times. The cabin is as promised. Clean and everything you need inside.

Fantastic stay!! Absolutely perfect for my partner and I and our 3 dogs!! They had so much fun roaming around and running wild in the yard. Super clean and had plenty of amenities. We still had cell service so it went perfectly.

Just what we were looking for and expected, a quiet weekend getaway in the country in a beautiful log cabin, but still close enough to town for everything we needed. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and we had all the accommodations for a very comfortable stay. Would definitely consider visiting again if we had the opportunity.

My fiance and I both work in healthcare, he also started his next term of nursing school two days after our stay at the cabin. It was a MUCH needed break to get away from the hussle and bussle of work and gave us time to just relax. The cabin was absolutely beautiful inside and outside. It was away from other people (which is what we were looking for) but was close enough to town that we were able to get to places quickly. There wasn't any cell service at the cabin (but came back just up the road) so it was nice to be able to officially unplug for a couple of days. We never did end up having a fire, but the couch was positioned perfectly to be able to watch the local wildlife - No deer, but lots of birds. The hosts were great - They gave clear instructions on their expectations, how to check in/out, and responded quickly when we asked questions. What an amazing stay we had ! It was so peaceful and my kids had so much fun ! It was home away from home. It’s not very often you get that “homey” feeling when away , but there is definitely something special about this cabin on 20 acres that makes you feel amazing ! Thank you for everything!!!

Beautiful log cabin! Amazing to look at and appreciate the craftsmanship of the home. Kinda creepy woods in the front yard but is good for scary movies lol. The 20 acre land was filled with trails to explore and a variety of terrain. I would have loved to do some hunting on the property, But just did some target shooting during the day and at night. No interaction or problem with neighboring homes. Great place to vacate for a few days and forget the rest of the world. Dont expect to have cell service or Wi-Fi. So pack some dvds with you.

We stayed there for one night and it was a quiet, get away with wildlife all day (raccoons right in front of the place in the water/woods. Deer, ducks, and turkeys.) Yes, it's a little mucky and muddy here but that hence the whole cabin escape Into the Woods idea. It's expected, so bring some boots and a extra sweater because it can get cold. The dryer is close to the toilet but who cares (my husband mentioned it)?! lol The shower door is a pull not slid. I had a moment trying to figure it out. lol Thank you very much! The place is neat, clean, and everything we expected, plus more. Beautiful home

Beautiful cabin in the woods with lots of privacy. Not far from town. Very easy checkin. Pictures do not do this cabin justice. The black out curtains upstairs were an awesome touch to the place also.

Both Robert and John were very helpful and responsive throughout our stay. We ran into a few challenges (not in our or their control) but they stayed on top of it and handled it nicely.

Location is as amazing, cabin was beautiful! We loved being secluded and walking the trails with our dogs. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Only downfall and warning to future stayers; the heat in the cabin never rose above 65 degrees. The weather outside was about 25-30 and on average it was around 62 degrees in the cabin at all times. If you’re traveling here in the winter bring extra blankets! I had to keep hats and warm clothes on my babies while in the cabin. Other than this the cabin was amazing!

We stayed here for a snowy weekend get away and it did not disappoint. It was cozy and the listing let you know exactly what to expect!

The grounds are lovely, and we really enjoyed walking the snowy trails, hearing the owls at night, and lighting a fire in the fire pit. The cabin itself could use a more thorough cleaning between guests.

My family and I loved our stay here. The people complaining about the “age” of the house and the “rusticness” obviously didn’t really look at what they were booking. This is the perfect place to get away from everything. The house is absolutely beautiful and is very well maintained. We loved hiking the trails and getting to spend the night out on the porch in the complete silence of the night. If you are looking for a place for you or your kids to stop and observe nature then this is the place for you.

Beautiful cabin and property! We had a wonderful post holiday getaway with our pup. That being said, just a few tips for future explorers: Bring any cooking supplies you may need. My own fault, but I’m just used to air bnbs having some basics, random oil, butter, seasonings, spatulas, etc. This one did not. If you want to sit by the campfire bring an outdoor chair. Need body wash or soap, bring some! Pretty much just bring anything you need! Which is maybe common sense, but sometimes places have these things! Overall a great stay. Great place for some much needed R and R!

Due to our check in time being after dark during the winter season, we would recommend bringing a flash light and or lantern to help you unload safely. This is a lovely property- clean, family friendly, dog friendly. Our boys loved walking through the house for the first time and seeing animals mounted on the walls. Our dogs enjoyed the outdoors including a path that ran through the property, they were able to trace deer and try to catch squirrels. The stars and moon were beautiful at night to enjoy around a bonfire. We will definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I loved staying here. I love the privacy and vibe of this place. We are both artist and got some well needed time to relax and work on a few projects. We played our music, drank our coffee and enjoyed the beautiful log home! Definitely will be coming back! Clean, homey, and a nice break from real life!

This cabin is a dream, absolutely beautiful and well loved. The property was so serene, we walked the trails and explored the woods surrounding a bit also. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

This is a great little cabin in a very peaceful setting. We enjoyed walking the trails & looking for deer tracks. Taking in the fall colors & just sitting by a fire. We would suggest bringing your own pillows as the ones provided are very flat. The cabin is cozy and beautiful. Its the perfect place to step away from it all & decompress.

We have enjoyed staying here on 4 different occasions so far. We love the quiet, the beautiful cabin, the trails... and if you need anything there’s a dollar general down the road. But yet, you are very secluded from the city! We always see deer too!

A great host who provides excellent, clear communication.

No wifi on the property, bring movies to watch there wasn’t much to watch on the tv in the evening.

No cell service or option to use the wifi. The volume wouldn't work on the TV either. There were a lot of flies and wasps in the house that were dying and falling on the floors as well. Kind of strange.

Wonderful cabin retreat off the beaten path. Can't wait to come back

We came to this cabin to get away for our anniversary - 7 years since we had been anywhere without our kids. We vacated the property after 1 hour. The cabin was filthy inside and out. After having to wade thru dog feces all over, we got inside. This cabin is not new as described, either. Every counter surface was dirty, the floors were filthy, sheets looked unchanged, sink had a fingernail on it, toilet had hair on it, thick dust everywhere. shower was gross. Dead bugs everywhere. We contacted the property owner (very kind and understanding) and after referring us to the property manager, we agreed to make due for the evening (not even any disinfectant in the house to wipe down anything) and have the cleaner come back in the morning to address the issues (versus vacating the property). It was either that, or drive over 2 hours straight back home. We decided to stay. Then the real nightmare began. There were very large wasps (we think paper wasps) on the windows. After trying to use some Raid we found, We soon discovered we were outnumbered. Dozens of them started pouring in from an upper window frame near the ceiling. We couldn't find them off and had to get our dogs and belongings out as fast as possible. We have yet to hear from "john"(who is very impersonal and downright rude, property manager) despite several messages after the wasp situation and regarding a refund. For now we wait to see how we can get our $ back. This place needs a lot of work and new staff! It's a shame because the owner Robert was very nice and the cabin itself and property are gorgeous!

This property was a perfect getaway! The home is far off the road and secluded enough to really relax and enjoy the incredible views. Check in and outs were both very easy with no problems at all! We took our dogs, they had room to run and play that they don’t get in the city. We loved the walking paths, they are perfectly planned and allowed for morning and evening walks with great views of the sunsets and sunrises. This is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

If you are looking for the most amazing place to get away from it all this is it! The cabin is absolutely gorgeous and the surroundings are beautiful. It was the most amazing weekend and we couldn’t have asked for anything better!! I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away to the woods for a weekend it will absolutely blow your mind. I would give this place 10 stars if I could it was seriously that amazing.

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It's very quiet and a really nice place. There is everything you need to cook, relax on the porch, and spend time with whoever you're with. The trails behind the house are a cool touch and we liked the porch and yard a lot. Inside it was really nice too but we weren't fans of the bugs allowed to get into the house since some of them were wasps. The owner was super nice and offered to send someone out to exterminate though, which we declined so we could have the private stay we were hoping for. I'm sure the owner is planning on fixing that soon so I wouldn't let that keep you from coming but I did want to be honest as to why I gave this cabin 4 instead of 5 stars.

This property is not as described. It's not a "Beautiful New Log Cabin". It's several years old, has hard water, wasn't clean like a new home, has older furniture and yellow jacket bees in the house. I killed two right above the bed the last night we stayed. The solitude is nice but not worth the money. And no fire pit as described.

Lovely property, we knew we would be a little bit unplugged because of no Wi-Fi, but also our service was terrible so we didn't communicate with the outside world. If that's what you're aiming for, it's great.

This was a nice, secluded location to truly “get away.” We loved the true cabin style house and the beautiful property!! Unfortunately, we never heard back from the owner after our arrival with a few questions we had, but all-in-all this was a great place and we hope to return!

Great place to stay!

This was our second time staying in the cabin. We love the secluded location and the large cabin and fire pit. The trails were a bit overgrown this time, but we were still able to get some walking in back there. Overall it’s a great place to stay. The hosts are quick to respond and very accommodating.

We loved the trails. The fire pit area for an evening fire under the stars was amazing. Take your lawn chairs. We saw some wild turkeys roosting in the tree nearby. We went to Crittenden County Park for the afternoon. It was close (about 5 miles) and a nice little park with swimming area and picnic tables. $7 for day pass for vehicle.

Great location, nice cabin. Air conditioning is only a window unit in the upstairs bedroom, which we didn’t know when we booked. Warmest in the house was 76 during the day when it was 81ish outside and it cooled off at night to around 70-71. Was nice to bring our dogs along with us.

Beautiful setting! The cabin was also beautiful! Loved the trails and all the nature but not too far from a little city to get food or whatever you need. We hope to go back next year!

This is was a great location for a night away as we dropped our kid off at camp. We hiked the state park by Cadillac and had no problems getting back and forth to the cabin.

Nice cabin, but definitely not a NEW build. This would be a wonderful cabin to stay at for the fall or winter. Unfortunately, the air conditioning mentioned in the listing is a window unit on the top loft floor that doesn’t even fit the window property and is broken (no cool air and a loud sound every 45 minutes). This made it difficult to stay in the heat of the summer. This made the top bedroom so hot we had to sleep on the sofa. The tv rarely worked, and the clicker was broken. On the last night of our stay the mowing team came and mowed the grass and trails at 8:00pm, waking up my 16 month old daughter, and stayed for about 35 minutes. There was a guest wifi available, but was told there was no wifi. The only thing that saved the vacation with the kids and the heat is the splash park we found in downtown Evart. The host responded to questions/comments within an hour, newer tiny charcoal grill, newer appliances (water and ice machine isn’t hooked up), the groomed trails were in a field next to a farm, the large fire pit was located away from the cabin included to cook in the open fire and we did see wildlife!

This is a beautiful property and a wonderful getaway. The trails were awesome for the kids and dog and the house was clean and comfortable. Guests may want to bring your own chairs to enjoy the porch or fire pit.

Trip went great! The only thing that was an issue was I thought it said there was AC? But I turned on the air with the thermostat and it never came on. So it was a little warmer than I'd like. It was around 75 for most of it. So it wasn't a big deal. Being in the woods helped cool it down. Everything was super clean. I was definitely satisfied with the trip.

This property is surrounded by trees. It’s so peaceful and quiet. There’s no WiFi, but there is a tv with a DVD player. It was definitely a lovely, quiet vacation. I’m on crutches so we weren’t able to take advantage of the hiking paths, but I hope to be back again someday. It was the perfect place to relax and be surrounded by nature.

Beautiful cabin! Pictures do not do it justice! Precut trails made it easy to get out and dive into nature. It is the perfect space to unplug and get away from the world.

We wanted a place to unplug and relax together with no agenda, no schedule. This did the trick! We had no cell service or wifi so our phones weren't accessible. (knew this going in). My kids loved the trails and catching bull frogs at the pond.

House looks great! Was kinda skeptical about the trails since they are a bit overgrown but can say this was a very calming stay.

Eady check in, good communication. Great private peaceful place. Lots of wildlife and walking trails. Had pretty much everything we needed with the antenna and dvd player, washer and dryer and room to do puzzles on the table, we were very relaxed and comfortable. Bring extra TP, we used more than was there for our 4 night stay. There was plenty of bedding, towels and kitchen supplies. except for a spatula, only one for a grill. Bug spray would be good too for walking the trails. Didn't have a fire, but there's a big firepit that looks adequate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return.

Robert’s cabin was a great place to stay! It was larger than we were expecting and allowed us a great and relaxing vacation.

The log cabin was the perfect getaway spot for us to unplug! We were looking for a secluded place with enough room for our dog to run, and that is exactly what we got! The inside is beautiful, but we barely noticed because we were out back on the trails 99% of the time. The trails are easy to see and navigate with just a few spots to duck and maneuver through. The cabin itself has all the necessities, and while there’s no WiFi, we had enough service to communicate with family easily. The home was also very clean when we arrived. We will definitely be coming back :)

This was a perfect, quiet, scenic spot for a getaway! The grounds and trails were lovely to explore and the house was just as cute as pictured.

The cabin was great for a long weekend away without wifi or cell service. We brought our own pots and pans after suggestions from other reviewers, but it looks like they got new ones recently so no need to worry about that. We were very warm and cozy the whole time, but definitely bring a humidifier if you’re sensitive to the dry air indoors during winter. The trails were difficult to navigate after the recent heavy snows weighed down the trees and most pathways became impenetrable pretty quickly, but there was plenty of open space and a great forested area out front to explore. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and our pups had a great time running the land.

Great experience! Can’t wait to return during the warmer months. Wish I had booked a longer stay!

The cabin was amazing and the property was breathe taking. there was snow on the ground that made exploring the property extra fun. check in was easy. was able to being our dog and she felt welcomed and at home. we look forward to future trips at this property

The place was lovely and we had a great time! The cabin was so cozy and stayed nice and warm in the cold weather. The place was very clean and styled super cute! If you’re planning to cook your meals, I would recommend bringing your own pots and pans, as well as the cooking basics you will need. The property was beautiful and this trip was exactly what I needed for a relaxing weekend!

This is a beautiful cabin if you truly want to be in the middle of nowhere with just yourself and your loved ones. A beautiful place to get away for a little while.

The place is beautiful and gives a great upnorth vibe but there were a lot of problems with the place such as cleanliness. The linen felt dirty and didn’t smell clean. The blanket on the upstairs bed was not cleaned, there were small blonde hairs all over and looked like dog hair. It made my allergies terrible. There were dead bugs on the window seals and two wasps were found at different times, both alive crawling on the ground in the living room. The Xbox in the living room doesn’t work so why even keep it there in the first place?

The pictures don’t do this cabin justice! We had a wonderful few days enjoying the quiet and snow. One complaint is that there wasn’t any salt available for the ice outside, and my husband slipped and fell on the front porch. But other than that we felt like this place had everything you’d need to spend time away from civilization. We’d love to come back in the summer!

The place itself is beautiful. Very comfortable. There have been nice upgrades since the first time we stayed. We have now stayed twice. We were just bummed out that we asked about being able to play an old Xbox 360 and take a trip down memory lane. We asked about it before we booked and we were told that it would be available and we can play. Because we were going to spend time doing this we did not bring much else to do. And there is no WiFi available to guests at the cabin. When we got there the controllers were missing battery packs and there were no cords to plug them in so we couldn’t play at all. The owners told us this was our of their control and someone must have stolen them. I understand things like that happen and it’s a bummer. But we asked about the specifically and it’s one of the things we really wanted to do. The hosts did apologize and everything else was good about our stay. We just weren’t accommodated at all for the inconvenience and that was a bit disappointing. But...with all that being said, the place is beautiful and clean and it’s a good place to go for a get away. We just would have planned differently had we known what we asked for wouldn’t be available.

Very nice cabin, if you want to sleep bring a humidifier if you are staying in the winter! The place gets very dry because of all the heat needed to keep the open space warm. Otherwise a nice place to relax and get out of doors.

Super cute log cabin is perfect for a getaway and som R&R. Dog and family friendly. 5 stars for cleanliness. Cell signal was actually really good considering how far into the woods it is located. Cute little town is just about an 8 minute drive away and has everything you need for a few days stay. If you go in the winter, I would suggest bringing a little bag of salt for the steps as they can get pretty icy which may cause some falls for your 2 legged and 4 legged friends. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for cooking. Appliances are pretty new. All in all, great place and great value. Only regret is that we didn’t book a longer stay! We hope to be back soon!!

Great place to completely unplug and get away. The house is extremely clean, well taken care of and plenty of space to explore on the property. Our dog loved it! Make sure to bring your own games or dvd's to entertain yourself at night since there isn't wifi and strong cell signal.

I took my wife and my dogs for a couple of days, and we had the most relaxing quiet getaway. We enjoyed every moment in this place. We also had a lot of land to run around with our pets. The place was really clean very cozy. We will definitely be back here again!

This is a great place to stay for the weekend or longer. Everything was nicer than expected and like always the pictures did not do justice to how nice the cabin is. They take great care of their cabin and better care of their customers. Looking forward to coming back next year if it is still available to rent.

A few little things to make your trip smoother: If you plan on cooking, I would suggest bringing a pot and pan from your own home. The ones provided were well-loved and had some rust. But this place really did have the basics covered with everything else you could need!

It’s a great place to whine down from the world. Loved the fact that there is no WiFi so it meant we all interacted with each other. Love the trails by the cabin. The place is super clean and the amenities are outstanding. The location to popular trails and kayaking was perfect. We recommend Baldwin Canoes rental in the town Baldwin. Evart town has a supermarket close to cabin and places to eat such as a subway that closes late. We enjoyed the Cabin and if you had any questions the host answered them pretty quickly. I give it 5 stars from us.

The house was more updated than I expected. My daughter had stayed here a 1.5 years before and said a lot of improvements had been made since that time. All appliances and furniture were very updated and good quality. We were looking to escape from the world for awhile and we couldn't have found a better place. The trails were really nice and plenty of wildlife everywhere. A heron even took up residence temporarily in one of the ponds. Very isolated, but town is only about a 10 min drive away. Couldn't have been more perfect. Even had comfortable beds!
