The space

Mornings at Three Shores Retreat begin with the shimmer of Round Lake, the gentle rustle of woods, and golden light reflecting across the water. There’s something peaceful about sipping coffee on the deck as loons call in the distance β€” that slow rhythm that reminds you you’re somewhere special.

Inside, the living room instantly feels like home. Centered around a beautiful brick fireplace, it’s a place where time stretches β€” where you curl up with a blanket, listen to the stillness, and feel the world soften. The tongue-and-groove wood interior brings a cozy, timeless warmth that complements modern updates.

Stepping outside is all about connection β€” with nature, loved ones, and the moment. The multi-tiered deck and hot tub overlook the lake, creating a gathering spot for sunrise coffee or starlit evenings. A gentle slope leads to your private dock and boathouse, where kayaks and lounge chairs invite slow days spent drifting, swimming, or simply watching the ripples.

Round Lake is part of the Tri-Lakes system, connecting you to Lake Mecosta and Blue Lake, with Canadian Lakes just beyond. Together, they form a playground of winding channels, sandy coves, and open waters. Each day feels like a new adventure, balanced by a calm that lingers long after you leave.

Other things to note

β˜…EVENTS & USAGEβ˜…

We get frequent requests from guests to use our homes for weddings, family reunions, bachelor / bachelorette parties, camping, or other large gatherings. Many of these types of events are high-impact and can affect future guest stays, so we carefully manage them.

If this is something you are looking for, please reach out to us prior to booking. Deposits, event fees, and other conditions may be required based on the event type, size and request. Should a booking be made prior to a mutual agreement on any additional requirements for the event, our standard cancelation policy will apply.

In the event your preferred dates are already taken, or you are traveling with a larger group, please view our other listings or reach out to us as we provide numerous rental options in the region.

β˜…ADDITIONAL SERVICESβ˜…

For an additional fee, we can provide concierge tailored services for anniversaries, birthdays, holidays or weddings.

πŸ”¨ A handyman is available for minor to moderate repairs, 24/7/365.
πŸ”§ Professional services are available for major repairs, 24/7/365.
🧹 Cleaning services can be performed mid stay for guests who want a hotel experience for an additional cost.

β˜…PET-FRIENDLY HOMEβ˜…

We are a dog (only) friendly home, but maintain a few rules and regulations regarding this. All dogs must be controlled either through a physical leash or with verbal commands so that the dog returns to the owner when necessary. Dogs and owners should both respect the boundaries of the properties and the neighbors use and enjoyment of their own. Guests should ensure that there is no pet waste left in the yards, and all waste is bagged up and removed. Do not leave any animals in the home unattended or uncrated under any circumstance. The home is limited to two dogs, and there may be a fee for these dogs. Guests should thoroughly clean up any shedding or excess fur which may be left in the home so that our cleaning team has a normal turnover without excess or unscheduled work. While we do make every effort to ensure a perfectly clean home, small amounts of fur may be present in the air, settle on the floors or surfaces or may not have been reachable under furniture... an expected, but unfortunate byproduct of being pet friendly.

β˜…NO SMOKING INSIDEβ˜…

All of our homes are exclusively no-smoking, of any kind, inside the home. Cigarettes and marijuana are incredibly potent smells for non-users and can have a negative impact on future guests. Evidence of a guest smoking in the house, including the attestment of our cleaning team, will result in a cleaning fee of up to $500.00 to change furnace filters, ozone remediate the air, clean duct work, and clean hard and soft surfaces.

β˜…DISCLOSURESβ˜…

Our homes feature many amenities which might be seasonally available or would be considered outdoor recreational items. We make every effort to ensure that these items are available for use and in good condition, but mother nature and our previous guests also play a roll in our ability to do so. Items like outdoor furniture, grills, kayaks, canoes, yard games, fire pits and patios are cared for by our team but are stored outside in the elements. There may be leaves, dirt or debris on these outdoor items, and some may have limited use depending on the season and weather patterns. Other items may have experienced use or abuse by previous guests and were not reported as damaged or broken to us, limiting our ability to repair or replace them. As with all short term rentals, our homes can experience wear and tear at an accelerated rate due to heavy use from our guests. We strive to keep our homes fresh and schedule repairs and maintenance as quickly as we can. You may experience new items at our homes that replaced items from our photos which may have been worn or damaged.

The home is located in a natural setting. Guests may encounter native flora and fauna commonly found in the area, including but not limited to mosquitoes, ticks, spiders, bees, wasps, ants, poison ivy, poison oak, raccoons, squirrels, deer, snakes, birds, and other wildlife. While the property is regularly maintained, the presence of plants, insects, and animals cannot be completely prevented. Guests are responsible for taking reasonable precautions when enjoying outdoor areas, including using insect repellent, wearing appropriate footwear, supervising children and pets, and avoiding contact with unfamiliar plants or wildlife. By booking this home, guests acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with staying in a natural environment.

Exterior maintenance services, including but not limited to lawn care, landscaping, pest control, snow removal, and trash services are essential to maintaining the quality and function of the home and surrounding land. Many of these services are scheduled on a weekly or monthly basis and may require the service provider to alter their planned date and time to work within past, current, or future weather conditions. As such, services may be performed during a guests’ stay.

Nice little waterfront cottage. It was cozy and relaxing. Bring bug spray for nighttime as the mosquitoes swarm the backyard, especially around the hot tub. A skimmer would be very helpful for the owner to leave for guests to use!

Great weekend get away with my family! Host has been extremely responsive and helpful from the moment I booked! Outside is where all the fun is! Kid's and adults enjoyed the kayaks, played cornhole, and used the hot tub at night. Loved waking up and enjoying a cup of coffee on the back porch with an amazing lake view. Caught a ton of fish also! The one thing I would let others know is that the closest gas station for firewood we found was about 10 mins away and Walmart was about 25 mins. I would πŸ’― book this home again! Thank you for being amazing hosts!

Overall a great stay! It’s a nice, secluded area where us and our dogs were able to relax. The fishing was great! The home was clean and we felt comfortable and secure. The wildlife was cool to see out the slider door. Lots of birds and deer to watch! Host was always friendly and helpful.

It was the perfect get away. My kiddo had a blast and caught lots of fish at the private deck. They’ve thought of everything and even had it set up for our dog. We would love to come back again and stay longer!

This place was perfect for a peaceful spring getaway - even with rain and snow(!) while I was there. It was easy to get in, and the hosts gave clear instructions of how to enter. I never used the hot tub, but they also provided very clear instructions for its use. It’s larger inside than it looks outside, so definitely plenty of room for a family trip! The stairs are steep and one is off from the others though, so be careful of that with little ones. The view was stunning, and it was nice and quiet since I was there off season, which is exactly what I was looking for. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here, and hope to come back with family in the summer sometime!

This Airbnb is a stellar find. The hot tub was wonderful as was the porch area where my wife and I spent the majority of the time. The kitchen was fantastic for making breakfast and saving some leftovers. We brought our two dogs, and the house had everything we would needed in order to keep the space clean comfortable for them. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this home very much. Even in March it was a beautiful place. Lots of space to spread out. Everything we needed for cooking was in the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and at least 1 room had blackout curtains.

My best friend and I booked this place for a girls weekend away. We wanted a place with a hot tub and we really enjoyed using that and being outside. We watched deer crossing on the frozen lake. The cabin was very clean and as described. They had everything we needed and more. My bed was comfortable. Check in was easy. I would recommend this place and would stay here again.

We had a lovely stay. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. This is a great cottage, perfect size for our family of five. The yard & the lake were wonderful - even with the warm up the ice was still thick enough for ice fishing.

Our stay was exactly what we were looking for, peaceful and relaxing! The house was exactly what the posting stated. The hot tub is one of the largest I have seen in a rental, and it is set up perfectly to look at the lake. Also, the 4-season room was ideal for board games and relaxing in the winter months where you felt you were outside with nature but being in the comforts of being inside in the heat. Lastly our host was kind enough to give us a heads up of an upcoming ice storm that was coming our way so that we can plan accordingly.

This place was really nice and we enjoyed the layout. I stayed here as I was working in the area. The hot tub was great in the winter with snow all around us. I can see how this would be a destination in the summer and I would definitely return here!

This was the best Airbnb I have stayed at in a few years. They were very accommodating for our pets as well as leaving specific dishes in the kitchen ( for thanksgiving dinner). The hot tub was the absolute best part of this place! Book if you would actually like to unwind and relax.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It felt very cozy and home-like, and the house had absolutely everything we needed. There was a fireplace inside, a hot tube , and a large property to enjoy. We stayed in winter and had no issues at all. The place was very clean β€” fresh bedding, plenty of towels, and lots of personal hygiene essentials were provided. There was also a laundry room available, which was very convenient. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Absolutely loved staying here. Lots of lovely updated spaces with all the little extras that made it feel PREMIUM. Plus it was so so clean, despite being pet friendly. My allergies and asthma are usually haywire at airbnbs with pets allowed, but this place was pristine. Also, comfortable (king) bed for my bad back and the couches were so cozy to curl up and watch Netflix. The hot tub was also incredible, (since the weather was in the 40s) and we saw geese and swans on the lake! So relaxing! the house is well equipped with beach and bath towels, shampoo and conditioner, kitchen items, board and card games, grilling tools, and everything is so organized and labeled to make it easy to find. Top notch vacation stay! hope to come back soon!

ROAM Management

We manage homes across the country, and we run each one like a storefront, not a listing. We stay in these towns ourselves β€” we dine in the restaurants, hike the same trails, and know which lake is worth the early start. The same team answers the phone, checks the house, and sets the rate.
