The host was helpful and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only suggestion I would recommend is to hang some blinds or curtains. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. The cabin was absolutely beautiful, cozy and set up so well to enjoy a getaway. As soon as I arrived there was a small family of deer that passed through the yard. The hot tub and wrap around deck were a perfect way to enjoy the river and snowfall during my stay. The natural light through the windows of the living room was a gentle wake up. The rooms and seating in the cabin are set up thoughtfully for multiple areas to socialize and enjoy company. We absolutely loved the loft style with having young kids it was so convenient all being able to sleep comfortably in the same area. The beds and pillows were so comfortable also. We loved that there was a selection of family friendly board games and some video games from our childhood that we got to introduce our kids too. We saw a family of deer walk across the front of the property that our kids thought was awesome. We LOVED having access to the newly added hot tub as well. That was an experience we all loved with -10° temps. Robert was a great host, provided detailed instructions and suggestions. He truly cares about his guests. We felt safe and secure even in a place with no window treatments (the purpose of a chalet).
