Shower head had lots of hard water buildup, so the pressure wasn't great, but it did stay hot enough for two people to shower. I don't think there was A/C, but the cabin stayed a comfortable temperature - even when it was 80 degrees outside. The property is pretty and we would have spent more time outside if it were maintained a bit more. The grass in the yard and the trails was up to our knees and with ticks being as bad as they are this season we didn't explore much. Make sure you bring all your toiletries and strong bug spray. There are some nice hiking trails about an hour west in the manistee national forest. ## Jennifer — June 2019 — 4★ Brought our three children and two dogs for three nights. The cabin and property were amazing. My dogs had the time of their life and we enjoyed hours of relaxing porch sitting, nature photography and walks on the property. If you are going during a wet season bringing waterproof boots for walks is ideal. If it were me, I would not list one of the couches as a bed or even a proper couch as it is broken. Also, make sure until it's repair or replacement not to bring frozen food since the freezer doesn't freeze...fridge had a slight cooling issue as well. ## Miguel — June 2019 — 5★ Amazing ## Timothy — May 2019 — 4★ Very fun place for gatherings. We love the cabin and found so many interesting spots on your grounds. The description of the space is on point, with two ponds, hiking trails and tons of wildlife. The cabin is very spacious with wonderful views from every window. We were sad to see some things in mild disrepair, but nothing that tainted our travels too much. The trails through the property are wonderful, we seen deer every walk. It was so quiet and picturesque. We enjoyed ourselves a great deal. We definitely would have had issues (there was snow) had we taken our sedan but with 4WD it’s a easy. We did see a few of those big bugs, not sure what that was about but no biggie. Overall we had a great time. Thanks Robert! ## Allison — March 2019 — 5★ Tucked away in the woods off a dirt road away from the rush, certainly gave a cozy apeal to me when I first arrived. To top it off the inside is completely 100% accurate through the pictures I saw earlier on the website. The place was stocked up with plenty of towels and bedding and I was very grateful for the coffee maker. The hosts responded right away when my boyfriend and I needed help with the check-in process. Everything went smoothly from there. The next day we walked the trails through the property and even saw three deer. There's plenty of parks nearby to go for a walk too.
