Prompt responses, note cleaning fee is non-refundable whether guest actually stays at the property or not. ## Justin — January 2020 — 4★ This is a wonderful, quiet place to stay. I would surely consider a second stay. The driveway can be bumpy and there isnt much room to turn around at the house either, some vehicles may have issues depending on time of year. Getting in was easy and heated up just fine. The place had been cleaned and all was well besides a few things. We couldn't locate the towels for kitchen or bath until we checked in the dryer, so they were clean anyway. We just folded them and used what we needed. The kitchen sponge was old and there wasn't any dish soap to use, luckily we had brought some. Master bed pillows were super flat, (wishing I would have brought my own). The tv was hooked to antenna and worked. Couch was comfortable. You might have to hunt for kitchen utensils, but there are things to use. Didn't get to explore outside much, but looks nice for a longer stay. The "early" check in that is usually accommodated did not happen for us. Even after sending a message to John the morning of and a second message at 3pm there was no response until an hour before check in. Not sure if that is common practice or not, but everything else seemed good. Thanks for sharing this nice cabin. ## Maggie — January 2020 — 5★ Super cool spot to hangout and relax. The area around the cabin is cool and if you know how to call owls you'll get a response! The trails were a great way to stretch our legs, and the cabin itself had comfortable and functional furnishings. As an FYI (in case this is not evident via the pictures), there are taxidermied animals--a buck, a ram, and a black bear--in the cabin. A lovely and clean quaint and quiet little cabin that looks better than the pictures! Outside grounds could do with some work, and location is very 'middle of nowhere' and 'not much to do'. It is very romantic and would be great for a couple or a young family. The pictures shown are accurate but still, do not capture the beauty of the cabin. It is spacious, open, but still very cozy and inviting. The beds are comfortable and they provide plenty of blankets and towels for your stay. The cabin is dog-friendly and they even provided a dog bed and treats for our fur baby. We loved the large property and exploring the nicely kept trails with our dog. Lots of nature, wildlife, stars, and all-around beauty. No neighbors, very private and secluded. A perfect getaway spot to slow down, relax in a peaceful setting. We will definitely be making another visit in the future.
