The linen felt dirty and didn’t smell clean. The blanket on the upstairs bed was not cleaned, there were small blonde hairs all over and looked like dog hair. It made my allergies terrible. There were dead bugs on the window seals and two wasps were found at different times, both alive crawling on the ground in the living room. The Xbox in the living room doesn’t work so why even keep it there in the first place? ## Becky M. — West Bloomfield, Michigan — February 2021 — 5★ The pictures don’t do this cabin justice! We had a wonderful few days enjoying the quiet and snow. One complaint is that there wasn’t any salt available for the ice outside, and my husband slipped and fell on the front porch. We have now stayed twice. We were just bummed out that we asked about being able to play an old Xbox 360 and take a trip down memory lane. We asked about it before we booked and we were told that it would be available and we can play. Because we were going to spend time doing this we did not bring much else to do. And there is no WiFi available to guests at the cabin. When we got there the controllers were missing battery packs and there were no cords to plug them in so we couldn’t play at all. The owners told us this was our of their control and someone must have stolen them. I understand things like that happen and it’s a bummer. But we asked about the specifically and it’s one of the things we really wanted to do. The hosts did apologize and everything else was good about our stay. We just weren’t accommodated at all for the inconvenience and that was a bit disappointing. But...with all that being said, the place is beautiful and clean and it’s a good place to go for a get away. We just would have planned differently had we known what we asked for wouldn’t be available. ## Eden — January 2021 — 4★ Very nice cabin, if you want to sleep bring a humidifier if you are staying in the winter! Dog and family friendly. 5 stars for cleanliness. Cell signal was actually really good considering how far into the woods it is located. Cute little town is just about an 8 minute drive away and has everything you need for a few days stay. If you go in the winter, I would suggest bringing a little bag of salt for the steps as they can get pretty icy which may cause some falls for your 2 legged and 4 legged friends. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for cooking. Appliances are pretty new. All in all, great place and great value. Only regret is that we didn’t book a longer stay!
