I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and we absolutely loved the Cabin! It’s so beautiful and it was extremely clean. Hosts are really friendly, helpful and reply back super quick! The cabin was really easy to locate. The trails were beautiful. While we were cooking dinner we saw deer in the yard, it was amazing. The pictures definitely don’t do it justice, it’s so beautiful inside and out! We actually have cases of it staged less than 100 feet away, across the road in the garage that we use as a central "store" for all of our properties. The land and trails are awesome and nice to have for a morning stroll. We enjoyed a bonfire and stargazing, there were such great views of the stars! The front porch was perfect for coffee and enjoying the sounds of nature. We stumbled upon the fire pit with grate while walking on the trails, it’s a little further from the cabin than expected but the small charcoal grill that was provided suited our cooking needs. The property is scenic with groomed trails and lots of wildlife. The owner is very responsive. We did find that some of the amenities were missing during our mid-June trip. (No grill, air conditioning unit, etc). Double check with the owner if something is important to you. Everything else was great! Excellent vacuums and floor cleaners. And we were pleasantly surprised that we had access to Netflix. One other thing to mention... there is no WiFi, even though it seems that there is a network available. My BF was able to connect remotely with his cell, I had absolutely nothing. Be ready to unplug and enjoy nature! > **Response from ROAM:** Hi Lindsay, I'm glad you loved the property and come back any time. A few points of clarification: 1.) There is a grill, but it's not a stand up, on the patio, grill. It's a very large, steel grill ring that goes over top of the fire pit. It's definitely there! 2.) There is Air Conditioning as well, but it's a not "central air" or controlled by the thermostat. Upstairs, in the master bedroom is a stand up portable air conditioning unit. There is a hose which will need the upstairs window to be cracked and the hose placed on the ledge to vent the hot air outside. Log homes hold lots of thermal energy and this unit is large enough to keep the home cooled if properly done! 3.) Yes, it appears there's wifi, but there really isn't. You'll see 3 networks broadcast right now, Secured, Guest and Security. Secured and Guest are our attempts to get a cellular rural wireless internet at the property, unfortunately it was not reliable and had a cap of 50 gigs, and a 10 dollar per gig charge after that. A rainy weekend with guests watching netflix could easily push 100gigs and we have no way of restricting the amount of usage, or billing the guests for it. The Security broadcast is for the Ring Security system, it has a backup cellular internet as well, but it has an even smaller amount of data, and this is only to control the door and security system. ## Barbara K. — June 2022 — 4★ There were no outdoor furniture or a grill provided. > **Response from ROAM:** Hi Barbara, We have furniture on the deck for seating, and there is a 3 to 4 foot diameter large steel grate which goes on top of the fire circle for grilling. We're very responsive! ## Mitchell B. — June 2022 — 4★ We had a Fantastic stay at Roberts cottage! The location was perfect and the 20 acre grounds is beautiful. The trails are super nice and overall the cabin is the perfect woods getaway. There is some places to eat within 10 minutes drive which was nice!
