Where to begin, the property was beautiful and private. Short walk to Bear Lake, and reminded me of my childhood with the dirt gravel roads. The Jacuzzi was most definitely our favorite part of the home as we wanted to relax and unwind and the jacuzzi did just that! The inside of the home was small but enjoyable most of the kitchen tools were included minus the pizza cutter however it worked out for us as Twisted Sisters Pizza made sure to cut it just how we needed. The bathroom was perfect with the stool shower made it easy to shave and enjoy a nice hot shower. The one recommendation that I have well 2. 1. Add a covered area around the jacuzzi as we would have spent more time in it had the weather permitted. 2. Add a room divider in the bedroom for privacy. We were traveling with a friend and the area was hard to find somewhere for privacy to change clothes if someone was using the restroom. All in all we enjoyed the home very much and the host were absolutely amazing!

Such a cute updated bungalow not too far off the beaten path. The hot tub was really great after a long drive. We enjoyed visiting a lot of places a from Manistee,Cadillac,Mount Pleasant and Clare. What fun

Bear Lake retreat was a nice experience. The kayaks were easy accessible, hot tube was a great experience, highly enjoyed the streaming platforms provided. Cute cozy cabin. Kitchen amenities and utensils were super convenient. Beach access was beautiful. Instructions I wish I knew to access the beach, it’s about 2-3 house over to the right. Next to the red house you’ll see the pathway to the gate. I’ll be honest if you are a super clean freak, this might not be the place for you. We did come across stained furniture,blankets/towels, and even though it’s dog friendly you will come across massive amounts of animal fur in every piece of furniture from previous guest. Tip: I would recommend a couch cover. Overall, the cabin was a nice gateway for me and my partner! The kayaks is what really won our heart! Thank for that experience!

Great cozy cabin on a private no wake lake in a country setting. The cabin is perfect for a quiet, relaxing getaway! The lake was beautiful, the beach was even dog friendly! The cabin was perfect for my family and our 2 dogs. We greatly enjoyed our stay here!

The location of this Airbnb was great. There’s a private beach, do remember to grab a key hanging right by the door. Directions on which way to walk to get to the beach would have been helpful, when facing the Airbnb you begin walking to the left and find a long road after leading to the gate. We enjoyed visiting the town Claire about 20 minutes away. The private beach was very nice but make sure you check the garage for kayaks that are conveniently on wheels if you walk. There is no canoe. We were unaware that the kayaks and canoes at the private beach were not the ones allowed to be used because we thought there was a canoe and had read they were stored outside. The hot tub gets very hot and was the best part about the cabin. There is no bedroom door which was really uncomfortable and multiple windows without blinds facing directly into the bedroom, my least favorite part. The silverware holder was dirty and so were multiple pans and utensils. There was lots of dog poop in the yard.

This is a great little affordable cabin in the woods! Very peaceful and quiet and there's even ducks and chickens next door which was cool. The private beach/lake was stunning and we were the only ones there when we went. Definitely a great option for a weekend getaway.

A wonderful stay. Just one night but that's all we were looking for was a little getaway from everything and this did not disappoint. Would stay again!

Very worth the price! Cute little cabin. We stayed with our kids, there were some cobwebs places and most of the bedding was dingy. I think the cleaner they hire could do a better job. That being said being said, you get what you pay for & we’re not picky people. However, there are no outlets in the bathroom so something to be aware of :). Cute little lake/beach access a short walk away and overall a good stay

The property was beautiful and the hot tub was great. On top of that, the beach is a private little thing, only for certain residents in that area. There's a Putt putt place about half an hour out that's also really cool and fun. I will say, it's a little bit smaller than I expected (fully a me thing) and, if you wanted to sleep all 8 people, you would probably have to bring your own air mattress or two. It really depends on people's willingness to share beds. All in all, it's a great place to escape from reality for a bit and we're already talking about going again next year.

We were very comfortable and happy at Forest and Flow's Airbnb. The house and grounds were maintained and there was more than enough room for 4 guests and a medium size dog. The place smelled and was clean in the kitchen and bathroom. The mattresses were a little dingy and the furniture had some stains but other than that everything was fantastic. It was a quick drive into Clare and an easy drive up to Cadillac if you're looking for a small town feel. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family!
